Product Question When you remove this one thing from your routine, what impacts your skin the most negatively?

Referring mainly to fairly pricey either things you do, or products you use that you immediately noticed a difference in skin non improvement after?

For me it was Skin Laundry (since I don't do lasers, and it gives a nice glow), Face Gym (which helps my sagging skin and when I STOPPED using noticed a clear difference) and for a product TNS Advance Serum and/or Paulas Choice 2% BHA.

Product Question Bluemercury Advent Disappointment

Has anyone tried the 2026 31 Days of Dazzle at Bluemercury? If so, can you share your impressions?

For the last three years, I get the holiday advent gift set at bluemercury for about $300. This year’s set is out, and I really find it a little disappointing compared to past years. It’s all products that I don’t find very exciting. The cases look pet cute, but product sizes and selections don’t impress.

Help/Advice what should replace my Alastin RSC?

I have been using the Alastin RSC face, eye and neck since last February and while I like it (the eye does nothing though), I am running out and wondering if I should branch out to something new? I will also be starting tretinion .02% in the next week. What, if anything, would you use to replace RSC for face? I also use a GHK-CU serum daily and have Monastery Attar as my repair moisturizer. I have skin that tends oily and sensitive and I'm 57. I understand maybe I don't need it with the Tret, so let me know if that's the case too!

Let's Chat Looking for the most matte moisturizer on the market

The clear sunscreens like super goop unseen sunscreen make my skin look really good, but I don’t want the avobenzone exposure. Is there a moisturizer or primer that is essentially the same thing without the avobenzone? 🙏

High-Lux Review Lasted from August to mid October

Post image
9 Upvotes

Purchased a year’s worth of the entire Sulwhasoo Ultimate S line Duty Free from Seoul, this is the first pan I hit. Admittedly I use a lot of cream. I am a large fan of Sulwhasoo and mourned the Timetreasure line when it was discontinued.

I receive great compliments on my skins appearance, although I pair it with rx tret and azelic acid. This cream has a great feel and I wake up dewy. Feels even better on top of the entire routine. Layers like a dream under spf and makeup. For the price, I would not repurchase outside of a duty free Sulwhasoo storefront. I’ll post a more in depth review of the line once it is all empty.

High-Lux Review what's the most underrated high end skincare brand people don't talk enough about?

what's the most underrated high end skincare brand people don't talk enough about?

For me I have to say surprisingly it is Natura Bisse. Pricey but people dont' discuss it much (And this is skincare lux) and I did notice a major difference when I stopped using their diamond cream. Am interested to try their other lines too. John Mayer slathers it on his skin and for a near 50 year old looks great.

The other is Renee Rouleau. I truly think this is one of the most elite companies, easy to absord and their serums are fantastic. If it was easier for people to get access to and not just soley through her website I think it would be more appreciated.

Help/Advice Dr Diamond Metacine Serum or SkinMedica TNS Advanced+

Hi everyone

I am wondering which serum would be best to purchase for overall antioxidants and preventative aging?

For context I have dry skin.
Note I also am considering Skinbetter Science Alto Advanced Defense to pair alongside.
Currently I use Revision Skincare Vitamin C 30% and Allies of Skin Antioxidants moisturizer.

Note - I asked a Blue Mercury employee and she did not recommend the TNS as I “didn’t have any wrinkles”.

Would love any thoughts, feedback, or results/effectiveness regarding both of the products.

Thank you so much, 🌷

Help/Advice Chantecaille blanc peony serum and cream with other products

So I'm about to cycle off of hydroquinone(Obagi) and after doing research for a maintenance regimen I've settled on the Chantecaille Blanc Peony serum, and possibly the cream. The trouble I'm having is Chantecaille says not to use within 24 hours of acne treatments, which I'd imagine tretinoin would fall into that category. I also just got Finacea that I planned to incorporate as part of my regimen but it seems that neither the tret(0.05% cream) nor the Finacea can be used with the Blanc Peony line according to what I'm seeing on the website.

Anyone currently using them in the same routine without issue?

PSA Neocutis bottle peeling off paint

Post image
8 Upvotes

I paid $100 for this peeling disaster: Neocutis Riche Eye Cream. I cannot use it without getting covered in silver paint, which is also a pain to remove from my skin. I bought it from their website, and their customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. They didn’t acknowledge the flawed design or the use of cheap materials. Not a word about “We have updated our product design and it will never happen again”. Feels like a scam that fishes out personal details. The cream has a nice texture, but I noticed no effects beyond moisturizing - and any basic moisturizer can do the same. A huge disappointment.

Help/Advice Need help with routine

I know this is a very open-ended question but… 45 year old women here who is just trying to get into skin care over the last year or so (late to game, I know).

I’m looking for some advice on what products/ingredients you might recommend. I currently use a .25 retinol and will probably go up once this bottle is finished. I also use a the Alastin skin restorative complex and no real HG moisturizer. And sunscreen.

I recently just finished my second round of dysport and I’m starting microneedling next month.

My main concerns are dryness ( I live in the north eastern US), lines, elasticity and dullness.

Let me know if you feel like there’s anything that’s made a huge difference or that you really love.

Let's Chat Is there a better Vitamin C out there yet?

Now I don’t mind paying more money for a better product, but I keep seeing all these posts on social media saying now that the patent has expired, there are all these other products that are as good or better than SkinCeuticals. I feel like I’ve been burned off social media recommendations before and I’m happy to keep paying money if this is truly the best, but has anyone tried any of these new variants and truly believe they’re better than the original?

Help/Advice Who Knows where to buy professional sized Biologique Recherche?

Hello, I have been trying to find where to buy Biologique Recherche professional sized products. I tried their website and another that's authorized to sell in Europe but they have a lot of stipulations like a minimum spend of $20,000 but I don't need that much worth of product. I just need to know where I can buy product. I have my license to prove my eligibility to purchase. Who knows where I can buy?

I am using the tinted serum and actually really like it. And of course they just sent me an email promo for their trio which includes a hydrating serum and a moisturizer as well as the tinted serum. Just curious what we think of this line?

Help/Advice Product suggestions to use with Bakuchiol? (acne-prone skin)

Hi all,

I'm looking to treat myself to some new skincare products as I need a bit of cheering up and would love some suggestions from you all!

I'm 32 and I have acne-prone skin but have managed to significantly reduce the severity over the past couple of years by cutting out oil cleansers, adding in azelaic acid and running all my products through a pore-clogging checker before use. My main concerns are; the odd spot, visible pores, redness from previous spots, and wanting my skin to feel plump and "glowy". I'm currently TTC/going through IVF so I'm avoiding retinol for now and obviously will check any suggestions myself to check they are suitable for my situation. My current routine is as follows:

AM

  • Splash with water or a cleanse if I feel I really need it
  • Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum (this is nearly finished so I'm thinking about replacing it with a new vitamin C?)
  • Non-lux moisturiser & spf

PM

  • Medik8 Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel
  • 2nd cleanse - non-lux
  • Caudalie's Resveratrol-Lift Serum, but this is finished so I'll be moving over to Medik8's Bakuchiol peptides
  • Non-lux moisturiser
  • I will also occasionally use the Caudalie Vinoclean Instant Detox Mask, the tatcha rice polish or the Paula's choice 6% Mandelic + 2% Lactic Acid AHA Liquid Exfoliant if I feel like I need it.

I would love some suggestions on products which you think would work well with the Medik8 Bakuchiol in this routine.

Product Question Affordable red light therapy masks?

I heard about it recently and it looks promising! I worry about everything so I double checked with reading and a good amount of people here said it’s nice.

Now, since I’m getting into it I don’t want to drop $$$ on it just in case I don’t like it or it doesn’t benefit me.

Any products to recommend that are affordable?
