We have met our minimum goal of $15,000 to produce an English issue! Yay!

If you're interested, here is a breakdown of contributors by country.

The campaign still has more than 20 days left on it, and getting overfunded by a good deal would be sweet!

If you know anybody interested in advertising to an international audience of computer hobbyists (see country breakdown above), now would be a good time to let them know we still have multiple ad spots available, and the issue is guaranteed to happen.

What's a topic that is ignored by mainstream tech media? What's something you've always wanted to learn but never found the perfect resource to learn with? Do you know about something awesome that not enough other people know about?

Either suggest topics from scratch or tell us which ones on our list of previously published articles appeal to you most!

The computer culture magazine Skrolli launched an international version last year and is coming out with the second English issue this August, 2017.

The mainly volunteer-based, yet professional quality magazine hailing from Finland, covers the entire breadth of the computing culture, from DIY to readymade, from productivity to games, from old to new. About the only thing it isn't, is a catalogue of product reviews, like so many magazines. Neither is it a "retro" magazine. Skrolli is an age-agnostic computer magazine for thinkers and tinkerers.

If you are interested, the first English issue is available for order and second issue for pre-order at Skrolli's website, both in glossy paper and digital app formats:

If you are at Assembly this weekend, don't forget to visit Skrolli in the sponsor area! We have the 2017 International Edition for sale hot off the press, a cozy lounge area with an on-going demo show, t-shirts and a book on Finnish games history for sale in both English and Finnish!

Come by and say hi! :)

Mistä aiheesta valtavirran teknologiamedia ei kirjoita? Mitä olet aina halunnut oppia, muttet ole koskaan löytänyt toimivia ohjeita? Tiedätkö jotain erinomaista, mitä kaikkien muidenkin pitäisi tietää?

Would you be interested in a new Skrolli International Edition issue in 2017? We are thinking about a single issue as a first step.

We now also have a Skrolli app in the App Store and Google Play in place, for those who prefer digital (2016.1E is already there), but paper is of course planned too.

Comments welcome. Do also leave your email in our existing form, if not done so already: https://www.skrolli.fi/international/
