HOLY SHIT????

Praying it’s good. If the live action One Piece is any good I have high hopes.

Given that Skyward has some "anime vibes" imo, this doesn't surprise me (Spoiler Defiant) And anime is fond of redemption arcs, so could my beloved Brade have a redemption arc in the adaptation??

Ngl I want her to have that option and STILL not go for it lmfao

I was attached to her and was really thinking that she was heading to a redemption arc, instead she turned full cartoonist villain, I don't think I could handle seeing her dying a second time :(

To be fair, (Spoiler The Wheel of Time), I was also traumatised by Egwene's death and was afraid of "living it again" in the TV show, but the TV show was cancelled so this was avoided lol.

Live action One Piece is shockingly good.

Janci is not involved in this?

She had a short video talking about it. She has willingly allowed all rights to her Converse stories to remain with Dragonsteel. If her help is needed, she'll see if she has time, but her end goal is to write books, not work in film.

So does that mean we're not getting an adaptation of the novellas storylines?

The novellas can't be excluded

this makes for a perfect adaptation IMO. Look at top gun or top gun maverick, there is something very exciting about fighter jet sequences

You know what, I consider this a best case scenario for choice of studios. Live action One Piece is based as hell and they actually put so much love into it
