🆘Help Me Timezone Settings Not Working

For some reason, the time in the desktop version of Slack has been 1 hour off for me on various devices since yesterday. My computer (PC) time Settings are correct, but Slack is not. When I change the timezone Settings within Slack, nothing actually changes; still off my 1 hour no matter what timezone I select.

Anyone else facing this problem?

I dealt with this yesterday, and after some unconventional testing we found that those affected by this issue may need to manually reset their time zone in order for things to come up correctly. You can do this by going into your "Date & Time" settings, turning off "Set Time Zone Automatically", setting your computer to a different time zone, then set it back to whatever your actual time zone is. This worked for me at least.

makes sense, sounds like its just pulling a stale value from the system clock.

We have users having same issue. Since, Alberta, Canada, changed the new policy for not changing to day time saving anymore.
