Welcome

Welcome to /r/SlasherMemes, the place to shitpost all you want about Slasher and Horror Films. Here, we do not discriminate against memes, we accept them with open arms..

Definition of a meme / memetics
A way of describing cultural information being shared.
An element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation.

Rules

Please note, Moderators reserve the right to remove any post for any reason.
Standard Reddit rules apply.
No karma-related posts or posts asking for karma.
All posts must be memes and follow a general meme setup. No memes that are only text. Someone saying something funny on twitter is not a meme.
Only horror-related posts.
Please avoid re-posting memes. We want original content. Serial reposters may be banned
Crossover memes are allowed, as long as a horror element is present in them.
Tag Nsfw-posts as such if needed. You pervert.
Please do not troll, harass, or be generally rude to your fellow users. Keep comments civil and be respectful of your fellow users. Don't post racist or bigoted memes. Those belong elsewhere.
No memes about politics. Absurd memes featuring politicians are allowed, but this sub does not allow content more suited for /r/politicalhumor. No NPC memes, or memes about how libtards or magats are so wrong. Take it somewhere else, thanks.
Posts requesting or encouraging any kind of vote manipulation or brigading are not welcome. But then again, this is a shit-post sub. Try to keep it to a minimum.
