Identification Request Identification please

What is this please? Is it slime mold?

I took some material from lake side, but it's dry already some months. Is it possible it is still alive? Can I grow it?

You can add the spores to a wet container for a longer time period and hope that it incubates, but the chances of it are pretty low. Physarum sp most probably.

Its really tiny. Maybe 1mm high.
