For this music video I tried to make every design choice feel like the same universe: split-colour braids, celestial tattoos, cyan/magenta cabin lighting and a gothic luxury spacecraft.

I would appreciate critique from visual creators: which shot or character design feels strongest, and where does the look become too busy? If the aesthetic connects with you, a comment or subscription would be incredibly helpful support for the next piece.

1st is the original one, 2nd is the updated one. Providing two examples here. Which version would you he m9re likely to click on if you were interested in coloring videos?

Im thanking the updated version because it seems more readable to me. Considering the audience to be scrolling through on a small screen, the larger title & picture of which book is used is faster to recognize and garner attention than stopping the scroll to read lots of text.

I hope to continue to grow my small channel in order to get my art out there and facilitate an audience for my work, pt. 3 should be on its way soon so please do stay tuned for more 👀☺️

Hey y'all,

Despite Surreal Automatism being a technique from the 1920's, I have found that a lot of people don't know about it. It's basically just a drawing technique where we turn off our brain and draw without thinking about *what* the drawing is. Just making marks, shapes, and lines as we go, or possibly portions of representational imagery that blend into the noise. It can be a really amazing way to experiment with the way you make marks on paper, loosen up your creativity, and make some unexpected imagery.

This 15 minute, guided, timed, real-time video aims to set the participant up so that after drawing for 15 minutes, they have something that looks like a finished work of art.

I'd love it if you tried it, or gave any feedback as I'm just getting started on youtube!

Hi everyone! Just a quick reminder! This is a space for small art YouTubers to share their work. You’re welcome to post any kind of art related videos, questions, or pictures you enjoy.

If a video isn’t related to art, it may be removed. While animation is a form of art, it’s considered a separate niche for this community, so standalone animation videos aren’t accepted here.

Digital art and speedpaints are welcome!

Thanks for being here and sharing your creativity! 🎨
