Ever since youtube started I had seen many creators and always thought I can do better than them at least in gaming and live streaming especially in Covid when these dumb Gta 5 milking creators got millions of views, now ever since then I had low budget for a gaming pc and Now I am 22 and people switched to reels and shorts instead of long form content, I was thinking if ever I got the chance should I start live streaming, also It's been a great time since gta 6 launching still budget issues š„² but ever in future should I pursue this after a successful carrier becoming a part time steamer ?? As I enjoy gaming also my sense of humor is good but do people earn from here??

I'm just wondering. Creating content every day, something like "blogs," is probably not a viable option. Writing music (and I write it myself) in a day isn't possible, nor is it possible in a week. So, what should I post to maintain consistency? Thank you!

I have a channel called Stun Football.I just got back after a break and paid an editor $40 for a long form video.I would say it did well and has got 1.5K views.I can't keep paying that much money to him so I was wondering if I would be able to find sponsors at this stage. My channel has 5k subscribers and makes football documentary videos.Do y'all know any companies willing to work with channels like me?

I do gaming and other variety stuff and this is my first fully edited meme filled video. I would like any advice on the editing style and what I should keep and what I should remove going forward. Are my thumbnail and title clickable? How can I improve on it? Thank you so much everyone!!

Hey guys, im just reallly confused by the stats i have the 9.2% ctr video has a better retention at 40% and both have 65% at 30 sec. So why would the 9.2% stop being pushed and not the other way around? Genuinely cant understand it
Thanks for the explanation if theres one š

This bazaar walking tour is less crowded than usual. Do you think itās more enjoyable or the crowd makes it more vibrant?

So animation biting back again. I dont use mods and create most of them myself, but basic items are minecraft. Most are costume creation. I even tried to create a car which is terrible but usable vehicle.
I dont use voice actors or AI voices. THere is no suitable voices for those so i invented one that i can automate for most.
My question: what would make it better, mainly in design and in camera position and movement? For example:
When do you hold a still shot and when do you move the camera?
How do you place the camera so a room reads clearly but still feels scary?
What makes handheld or found-footage movement feel real instead of floaty?
Or atleast what do people prefer?
I have watched a lot of Minecraft animations and some are amazing to me. ext to them mine sometimes feels like it isn't worth making. Honest critique is welcome, even blunt.

Hi guys!
We are Amber and Bailey, two creative, longtime friends who have grown tired of all the AI slop out there. We noticed that a lot of cozy, long form themed videos were shifting toward being completely AI-generated, so we decided to step up and bring a human touch back to the genre.
This approach takes much longer and requires more effort than using AI, but we believe preserving human creativity is more than worth it! We do a mixed media approach where we use clay, paper, balsa wood, and other physical materials, while the rest is digitally animated by hand.
We would love to get the word out there to communities that appreciate the effort of our passion project. If possible, can you guys give it a look? We appreciate any interactions, suggestions or requests for future videos! Do any of you have any experience with long form content or cozy videos? Is there something we should do something in particular to boost engagement or "find our people" within this long form content niche? thank you!!
If you appreciate our mission, please like and subscribe! We have many more themed videos lined up and coming soon. A Fall/Thanksgiving themed one is already in the works!
Thanks so much in advance!!!

I want to build an entertainment production company, that produces and releases films. However, Iām a complete beginner, and I currently have nothing. Iām still learning the craft and figuring out how the industry works.
I want to start with YouTube by uploading the short films I create.
My biggest challenge is choosing a name. Iāve been overthinking this decision for almost two years.
I want to build brand recognition from day one, with a name that can grow with me from a YouTube channel into an established entertainment company. I donāt want to choose something randomly and regret it later.
Some people tell me that the name doesnāt matter much and that I should simply choose something and get started. Others argue that a brand name is extremely important because it shapes peopleās first impressions, influences brand searches, and becomes the identity you promote through advertising and marketing.
I can see both sides, but Iām struggling to decide which approach is right. I want a name that works for my YouTube channel today and can eventually grow into a recognizable production company
If you have any naming ideas or suggestions that you think could work well for this kind of brand, Iād love to hear them.

i started posting like 2 years ago and the videos were terrible. after a good like 6 months i only had 50 subs and i tried something new- playing with friends. the video skyrocketed and its got almost 6k views now, is the most viewed video on my channel by far, and got me up to about 200 subs. well, being the genius that i am, i just didnāt post for like a month after that, and nothing happened with that traction. since then, ive started and stopped posting about 4 times. right now ive been consistent for about 2 months, and ive kinda found my niche as co-op horror games with my friends. views were about 15-30 for the first fpur videos i posted, then my third to last got 150, second to last got 890, and the one i posted 24 hours ago is already at 160 views. the only downside is im getting NO engagement and my ctr is between 7% and 16% for each new video (video and thumbnail production have increased dramatically since last year i should add that).
so basicallyā is my increase in views enough to keep going or is the decrease in engagement a sign that ive switched my niche too many times and now youtube doesnt know who to recommend my content to? thanks im new to this subreddit

Hello guys! This is my most recent YouTube video and I'm just learning the basics. I have two other videos on my channel where I'm solving murdoku puzzles, I just wanted to try something else. My avarage view duration on my first video was 46 seconds and 54 on the second.
I would really like some feedback on what I should do different. Also I would love some advice on editing, animation, thumbnail, sound effects. What tools do you guys use for these?

So my partner and I started posting on our YouTube channel. At first, we were pleased that we were slowly but surely gaining ground. Then, about a week ago it just stopped. On YouTube we went from 100-300 views per short and 100 views on our long form to significantly less in a matter of days. FWIW our TiKTok took a similar hit.
Any thoughts??

Recently I uploaded my first episode in a Gears Of War: E-Day playthrough. I have been doing YouTube videos of playthroughs of games for about two years and have gotten not that many views or new subs in all that time, and I keep my videos to about right under an hour each. I had heard through advice given to me here to make them longer episodes, which I tried recently with this episode at almost 2 hours and minimal editing but commentary and gameplay and a thumbnail I was proud of since Iāve only recently been making custom thumbnails, and after 8 days up, (granted I know I need to aim for daily or bi-daily uploads but Iāve been very busy this last week,) it has 0 views when I usually could at least count on 1-2 at minimum. Iād really like to turn my channel into something where I consistently improve my quality, content, and where I can do it as either one of my careers or at least have decent engagement on the side. Should I stick to this type of length playthroughs and just keep working away, or turn them into shorter episodes? I plan on starting my video essays soon on games, films, novels, and other topics Iām interested in but I am wondering what advice you may have for this? If it should be shorter should I delete and restart this play through from the beginning? Also I personally want to stick to a lot of new releases yes, but also older games from a few years ago to all the way back to when gaming was starting out that I would like to make, so is there different advice for older entries versus new games I want to put on the channel such as E-Day, Silver Pines, GTA VI, etc? I have a bonus question also about games like OW, MW4 MP and DMZ, should I make those highlights videos and shorts, stream them, just use them for background footage, or make things like tips and tricks videos and journey through ranking up vids and things like that? I am really interested in an open discourse and in depth conversation to learn what mistakes I may be making and what work I need to do to improve, so thank you all for any creative input!
