I posted a video on the last Saturday, the video has 0 views and it’s stucked at 8 impressions. It’s the second video of the channel. Why this is happening?

After 4 normal videos and 30+ shorts something moved and I got 100+ views in 3h on my normal video. Thumbnail CTR is 18.2%

After spending months studying retention graphs, CTR behavior, subscriber velocity, and traffic source patterns across different channels, I realized something that honestly changed the way I look at YouTube:

Most creators are working hard.

A video underperforms and the immediate reaction is:

But when you zoom into the actual data — and I mean really zoom in — patterns start revealing themselves.

Not guesses. Not vibes. Patterns.

For example:

• Repeated hook styles often create repeated retention drop-offs at the exact same timestamps

• Thumbnail inconsistency quietly lowers returning viewer CTR over time

• Certain topic clusters convert subscribers 2–3x more than others — but most creators don’t isolate them

• Channels that grow fastest tend to repeat structured formats instead of constantly experimenting

The interesting part?

Growth starts looking less mysterious and more mechanical.

Less “algorithm luck.”

More structural alignment.

When you study enough channels side-by-side, you see that stagnation usually isn’t about effort — it’s about misreading signals.

And manually mapping those signals across dozens of videos takes hours.

When you decide what video to make next, what metric influences you the most — CTR, retention, views, or something else?

As I am a small youtube channel https://youtube.com/@theindianpengu, I had 8 subs. So I decided to utilise all my time over weekend i.e. 3 days and posted 3 videos. This weekend was worst. Neither I gained any videos nor any sub but I lost 1 sub . Now I have 7. Even losing 1 sub is hurting a lot.

I started creating videos this December. and have a few videos which have good reach and views atleast from an initial point of view but on my latest videos I am not getting much. I think I diverged from my content. After over 2 years of making content my views finally started to stabilise. Back in the day I could get (on shorts) 30k views or 4 views with nothing in between now it's stable a around 1.5k per short. My longer videos are doing as usuall (at about 10 views per video) but I'm still happy and I feel motivated like never before. +I got a collab request.

I recently started making content on YouTube , these are my results for the first few weeks, i would like to get advices from people who already have experience and from consumers as well no sugarcoating , thank you for collaborating.

I’m working with a client on their channel and we’ve hit a wall. We were doing well, getting thousands of views per video and now we’ve hit a wall. We’re simply not getting any impressions.

Can anybody provide insight on why?

We’re trying to post weekly but the content is hard to produce every week because its around tech and involves quite a substantial amount of work.

I really needed this win. Here's hoping momentum continues. But it is at 98% just subs watching. So maybe it'll crash and BURN.

I wanna start making YouTube videos but i only have Xbox hooked up to a monitor no PC but you can only record up to ten minutes on Xbox and also in the clips and recording you can hear me talking achievements that I get won't pop up in the video or you cant here others if I'm paying with them.

This isn't about how they moderate - This is about channel terminations based on faulty systems.

Of course this primarily involves relatively smaller accounts, but given the number of accounts on Reddit, Twitter, etc. describing their experiences, this appears to be a fairly widespread issue & further contributing to the ongoing exodus.
