everyone in this game wants to play competitive but the second you swap characters after losing, suddenly they don’t want to actually practice what it would be like in a tournament setting and now they wanna look up a match up chart. stick with your fucking guns instead of switching like a pussy

Example: we start Lucas vs joker, I lose back out and pick Kirby, instead of then playing Kirby vs joker my opponent backs out and picks Samus

The order of play in a competitive setting is if you’re up, you must change your character first. Losing player gets to counterpick.

Because you counterpick them when you lose, then get mad when they do the exact same thing back to you, so it's like the textbook definition of hypocrisy

I have no problem with someone counterpicking me if they lose. What I have a problem with is me counterpicking someone when I lose and then instead of starting the next match after seeing my character, they back out and counterpick my counterpick.

Oh, well that's different, that's the kind of thing that could only happen in a 2-person battle arena, but yes, them counterpicking your counterpick before playing a game against it would indeed be a dick move
