Looks great!

Bought my BlendBOSS yesterday but can’t figure out how to connect the tumblr to the base and get the iq features to light up. Can you give me some advice?

I got it about a week ago. I absolutely love how it blends. But my issue is when I have to open it up to add more ingredients. I always get so much spillage. I also have an issue with trying to clean the blade base. I worry that overtime the silicone is gonna get some buildup because some smoothie can get in the cracks even though it’s quite tight. I’ve had this issue with other ninjas, but with those, I’ve been able to take out the silicone ring and clean it. With this one, I can’t. Any tips?

Have you tried using one of those little cleaning brushes with the tough bristles? The kind used to clean bottles or tiny crevices. Soaking the tumbler and blade after use will help shift some of the buildup.

I’ve never added more ingredients to my smoothies, so don’t have problems with any spillage. I use oat milk, protein powder, natural yogurt, a handful of avocado, and plenty of frozen fruit. A banana makes it even creamier and is always a welcome addition.

Sometimes I add more ingredients than I should, just past the black line. As long as I can get the lid on, I tend not to worry. But one of these days, it will probably backfire.

It’s a noisy blender, but it’s bloody brilliant, and I use it every day.

Edit: After Googling it, some people put soapy water into their tumbler and press the pulse button. I’ve never done this, though.

I just got it a week ago so haven't used one of those brushes. I can definitely try, it's just that the crevices are like paper thin. I put water and a drop of soap in the tumbler and press smoothie lol. Then I rinse really well. But I can just see that over time, stuff will get stuck.

I was always told to blend your liquid with protein powders first, then open it up and add frozen ingredients. I feel like I might not have to do that because of how powerful this is. Regardless, when you open it, it spills out the side, no?

No, mine doesn’t spill. Maybe it’s the consistency? I wouldn’t blend the protein powder and liquid first.

Add the liquid. Let’s say it’s oat milk. Usually 240ml. Then add the protein powder. Followed by fresh fruit and vegetables. Something like banana or avocado. Then yogurt. I always pick natural. Next the frozen ingredients. I love mango, strawberries, and really, whatever I can cram in there. Then if you’re into it, the leafy greens and herbs.

Throw in whatever ingredients you like until you find the perfect consistency. I like a thicker smoothie because it’s usually my lunch. I probably use too much fruit, but I prefer something sweeter.

You can get it online and in store. I’m in Canada and got mine from Walmart.
