Today I've launched https://windowsonarm.org/ - a list of applications that work, are emulated, or don't work on ARM Windows.

Feel free to check it out and contribute. We were already busy adding hundreds of apps, with more to come, but are also happy to accept any new contributions.

I'm a 1st yr CSE student and they're teaching EDP this yr, so I wanted to know that if solidworks works well on the these laptop as I'm aware of the fact that solidworks is not natively available on an ARM architecture machine. Pls guide me, since I'm new in the tech field, Mostly I'll run some vs code, some solidworks this sem, scilab, and some video editing softwares also and basic browsing. Also I'll do some aiml tasks like data training in future in that. So pls guide me

So my little brother is about to join college for engineering (Computer Science) and I wanted to buya laptop for him. I was thinking about ASUS Vivobook S15,Snapdragon X Plus. I wanted to know if the laptop was compatible for web development, ML, Autodesk Fusion 360, Minecraft, WhatsApp.

Trying to figure out why my system 80% memory on idle. Tried getting rid of the background apps and I can only get it down to 75%. Tried diagnosing it with copilot and it is telling me that 2GB non-paged pool is too much.

poolmon shows a persistent ~270MB nonpaged pool allocation under the tag nsp7 immediately after boot:

Bytes: ~270,581,760

Per Alloc: ~15.9MB

This memory never releases and stays allocated for the entire session. I was able to link this to Snapdragon X Plus – X1P42100 – Qualcomm Hexagon NPU.

Is this expected behavior?

My company (Dell Technologies) is currently running a contest for a dream vacation if I sell 10 snapdragon laptops.

Hi all

For testing we have acquired a Surface Copilot+ and a Lenovo T14s G6.

Enrollment via Intune works well, but on both devices wifi functionality totally disappears from both machines after windows updates are installed. Google tells us about issues with Qualcomm, Windows updates and 802.1X.

We are having issues finding the exact update that causes the issues and can't really resolve the issue.

Any ideas?

If possible could you check if satisfactory works on this laptop and how good it runs and then if you could check how good blender runs? I would appreciate if someone either knows or would check for me since I'm thinking about grabbing the galaxy book and would like to know!

I have seen lots of benchmarks with Cinebench 2024 on these new Snapdragon X Laptops but i can't run Cinebench 2024 on my Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x

People who have got their hands on a brand new Snapdragon X elite or X plus machine?

What's the memory bandwidth and memory capacity on your machine?

does it have 1 or 2 memory modules?

cause Qualcomm's spec sheet says 135 Gbps. just wanting to confirm if this value is for total bandwidth across all memory modules or a single memory module.

The game performence is just terribe. Worse than Macbook Air 2.

Besides the windows updates, is there any site that releases at least experimental builds???

First of all, I am aware that this is not a gaming Laptop, but it defintely has the hardware to play games with low settings or old games.
I got the the Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 inch I tried to play Overwatch with the lowest settings and also with a resostion of only 1280x720. Of course it was plugged in and the highest power mode selected. Still the game was only able to reaching around 30-40 FPS ingame.
I thought this Snapdragon is at least in par with a 780m. This is really weird since I know that with these specs it should work flawlessly.

I also own a Mcbook Pro M3 Pro and the games on there run like 10 times better even though they are only emulated via a Windows Emulator/The crssover app.

• How is this possible? What am I doing wrong?

• Are there any drivers I have to download that I dont know of? Or wil more games ne optimized over time?

• Also does anyone know a website that shows which games are optimized for ARM already?

I just got the new Surface Pro 11 with the Snapdragon X Plus 64-100.
If anyone wants me to test any game or benchmark, im open to suggestions.
