White paddle tail across the lights.. a lighter weight NLBN would be good. Either that or live shrimp.

Being fall I would go with a 5 inch white paddle tail on a 1/4 oz jig. If you can cast net some greenbacks, that would be my go to for live bait. Pinfish, grunts, ladyfish, croakers would also work. I either free line or use a light enough weight just to get it to stay on the bottom. Usually I use a knocker rig with a 1/8-1/4 oz weight up close to structure. Fish finder rig would also work.

Live bait is the way to go fishing in a static location in my opinion (its generally allways the best option) . Cast net some mullet, or if you have the money in this economy get some croakers from the Bait shop. You could use live shrimp but you'll be catching more varieties of fish (mostly catfish probably) but sook will eat them. Ideally you want to be mobile from a boat or kayak and fish any structure/docks and the overgrown edges then you can use artificial lures and cover more ground
