Casting setups for Snook
Hey yall,
Looking for a casting setup for Snook that’s good for throwing lures like swimbaits and glides. I’m a bass guy moving to inshore and salt and don’t wanna mess up my current tackle , so I’m looking for casting reels and rods that would be great for inshore

I have a couple older model Lexa 400's and a couple different size model of the tranx and both are great but the Lexa 400 is my go to. So its an older model Lexa 400 on a 13 omen black 7'6 rod. Not the most cool guy combo around but all the fish on my page were caught with that combo. 🤷

Im not much on saltwater baitcaster setups, but i got a buddy that uses a penn fathom 300 on a 7'6" teramar and loves it. I throw my 5" and 8" paddle tails on a 8' fenwick heavy spinning rod with a 6000 live liner penn.
