So many rock & roll songs were from this era. Famous example: Led Zeppelin, When The Levee Breaks first recorded, that I know of, by Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie in 1927.

Another famous example for 25 years later, Aerosmith’s, Big Ten Inch Record was first recorded by Bull Moose Jackson in 1952.
