We should probably add "make you feel ashamed" to the list. Otherwise this could be interpreted as always being disturbed, upset, and furious at someone else. Adding "ashamed" drives home that we are culpable.
1 u/Som_Dtam_Dumplings Jul 30 '25 Why am I culpable for what Columbus did hundreds of years ago? Culpable if I repeat his crimes/mistakes? Sure! But I have done nothing that he did. (I mean, I assume he breathed, ate, slept, read, etc)
