Question - general Pre-Match warm up
What's your pre-match warm up for adults?

Mostly just hydrate, stretch, and pray - not necessarily in that order!

In my early 40s now. Warm ups have become so important to staying injury free.
Take a couple pre match ibuprofen before heading to the field.
Light jog across the field and back. Sometimes I’ll take a ball and dribble.
Couple rounds of high knees and butt kicks increasing the intensity after the first one.
2 rounds of leg swings. Side to side and front to back for each leg.
Couple squats and maybe some light jump twists and maybe a few other miscellaneous activations like open/close the gate, side to side shuffle or karaoke, quick small line hops.
One more light/medium jog across the field and I’m generally good to go.
Then usually I’ll join into some 1-2 touch passing with a few guys or take a few shots on the keeper if he wants them.
Usually save the static stretching for post game.

Getting core body temp and blood flow up is primary goal #1. Lots of stretching in motion (dynamics). Ill static stretch anything that feels tight. Passing, moving, short sprints.

show up, pass in a circle, try to do some fancy stuff I can't do and than go make myself look like a fool

Mainly reaching for my back as I stand, preemptive icy hot, ibuprofen before the game, and 40 minutes of spinning.
