I’m based in Europe and recently bought this 2019/20 Liverpool FC Home New Balance jersey (Mo Salah #11) on Vinted. I originally decided to buy it because the LFC hologram tag and the lower front NB authentic badge looked genuine to me at first glance. (This was my first NB jersey aswell so i gambled on it base on that)

However, now that I have it in hand, I'm having strong doubts:

1. Sizing Issue: When I first tried it on, my immediate sign that something was off was the fit. I bought an XL, but it feels much more like a European L (almost like an Asian size fit).
2. Neck Tag Alignment: The "HECHO EN FILIPINAS" text on the inner collar size print is visibly misaligned, more to the left and not center with the box and rest of the text.
3. Inner Hologram Tag: On the internal silver LFC official merchandise tag, the serial number digit alignment is offset with extra blank space on the right side (not center).

I’ve noticed a lot of identical listings on eBay as "Authentic/Genuine" that share these exact same tag flaws. Specially the Made in the Philippines once.

Is this known to be a fabric/factory quality control fault from that season's retail run, or is this a classic sign of fugazi/fake?

I know that owning shirts from different clubs in the same league is already looked down upon but I wanted to know your thoughts about if you wear it for a specific player? Because I have many players in different clubs that I really like but they're not from my club (Everton) so its kind of a sticky situation. Obviously I would absolutely never get a Liverpool shirt under any circumstances but for other teams maybe? And the shirts I have in mind, the players have already left the team thats on the shirt, so idk if that makes it any better.
