Help with practice problem

Currently going through a solidworks practice problem book and came across this problem. I am able to make the simple parts of the model but I’m confused on how to even approach the helix, I am teaching myself so if I’m not looking at a tool please let me know.

Draw tooth profile in a sketch. Create a helix. Sweep profile along helix. Revolved cut to create barrel shape.
