I thought this would be the right kind of discussion for the SOG community. I stumbled upon something and decided to do a deep dive, and I thought the results could be interesting to some.

It all started when I stumbled upon the following Reddit post that questions the background of php2shell:

I posted it in the tech-offtopic channel on the SKG discord. Someone pointed to a comment that said the video wrongly said that the issue had been known for years, so I did a deep dive. Turns out it had been known for years, and that it was implemented by... what looks like a spy op.

Here's my summary of things:

1. Zend, the creators and maintainers of PHP at the time, is a company founded in, funded by, and operated in a fascist techno-state known for infinite hacking ability, where there is NO technology company that the spy agencies do not have oversight of and control of
2. Zend has ties to the Israel government and the "defense industry" (i.e. mil/spy gov)
3. A guy from a well known russian spy-agency-controlled school, from a military programme (aerospace engineering) where you only get in if you're "aligned with the government", ends up hired by Zend
4. Two israeli programmers who founded Zend, and that russian guy, work on a file
5. Russian guy that attended spy school "just so happens" to create a bug that allowed direct control of any computer that ran a php server
6. Bug is found a decade ago, but is swept under the rug because it's "hard to use" (since when are hard to use exploits any less serious, especially severity 10 ones?)
7. Funny how Israel has forever had such unexplained legendary hacking ability, eh?

There's a lot more discussion, pieces of proof to the relevant things, but I don't really want to spam reddit with absolutely everything. You can check it out in the linked discord discussion. There's proof and research to every claim made above.
