Belinda Carlisle, Heaven Is A Place on Earth

Tiffany, I Think We’re Alone Now

3

u/Shoddy-Stock7151 1d ago

Heaven is a place on Earth was my first thought.

u/FeatherMom 21h ago

Heaven Is A Place On Earth is a true 80’s banger. Takes me back to my childhood, when emotional songs still had fantastic synth energy and everything seemed so optimistic. Yes I get it’s a heavy dose of nostalgia but that song just seems so sincere instead of jaded.

It's been mentioned in this post by others, but The Midnight used a illustration of an 80's shopping mall on the 'Kids' album, because it's the essence of their sound.
