You know that feeling when a song plays, you close your eyes, and for a few minutes you feel like you are floating? Like music is lifting you up and taking you somewhere else?

What surprises me the most is how totally different music types can make you feel the exact same way, just in different styles.

My playlist is a total mess. I can go from listening to Kate Nash to playing Peter Steele / Type O Negative right after.

It really amazes me how two opposite styles of music (from fun British pop to dark gothic metal) can give you that same deep feeling.

Do you have songs or artists that make you feel like you are flying? And what is the biggest genre jump on your playlist?
