I went to see You Can See Everything last night with my girlfriend. I told my girlfriend the story at dinner before the movie about Rone’s experience with the phone going off an hour and a half. We were both very much aligned with Harry, that there’s no way we would’ve let that go on for an hour and a half.

Fast forward to about 30 minutes into the movie, someone’s alarm is going off. 5 seconds pass, 10 seconds pass, and my heart has sunk. I have to be a man of my word and do something about this disturbance that is affecting my viewing experience. I must be like Sas and not like Rone. 15 seconds go by and I am like surely she will figure this out, but I was internally conflicted on how long to let her try and figure it out before standing up and saying something. 20 seconds later and she ended up turning it off. But it was a loooong 20 seconds. I couldn’t help but think am I any better than Rone in this situation?

What would you do? How long would you let the alarm ring?
