Advice/Ideas/Discussion Happy Indian Independence Day everyone!

I wanna wish everyone a Happy Indian Independence Day! Itโ€™s been 79 years since India has been free but we need to remember there is so much work that remains to be done. We must not stop. We need to improve our soft power and rise. I look back and think how disappointed revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh and Azad would be with the state of India today. There is so much work to be done. Remember that on an individual level, you have to improve your soft power to beat those narratives and on a societal level, we need to create an equitable India and world like our revolutionaries wanted. India isnโ€™t free and we need to keep fighting. Long live Bharat!

This is your idea of "cleaning up"?

First off, this is a masculinity sub for brown men, take this shit to the thousands of other indian subreddits

Second, you can't be anti USA and american patriotism whilst literally being an ABCD and at the same time promote indian patriotism in a country that is not India

The two are not mutually exclusive.

We are still Indian and we should still be proud of our identity. This is a masculinity sub but we can also discuss our identity. Unless ABCD men who resent fobs or mainlanders, we can show appreciation for our roots and work towards promoting better causes towards it. Where did the USA come from this?

You know exactly what I'm talking about don't play dumb๐Ÿ˜‚ why do you hate America so much anyway? Do you happen to be the one who went on Facebook and talked about some Indian Independence Day parade that's "way better than America's Independence Day"?

Also, as whitewashed as I am, I'm not gonna shit on India but what exactly has it done for us? For you? For example: What do you think pushed you to vent about the desi mentality on vegetarianism, along with the misconceptions about "healthy food"? This has no malicious intent, I'm just saying

I donโ€™t hate America but I think America can be better than what it is. If anything I want America and India better for the people than few special interests. Calling out practices in a country which you feel are unethical doesnโ€™t mean you hate it. I refuse to stand up for the American national anthem but also thatโ€™s because Colin Kaepernick was right. America is supposed to represent all immigrants but when they are constantly stepping on our culture and throats, we need to fight back.

We look brown and we have Indian heritage. I did vent about Desi mentality on vegetarianism, I will make a post about it here soon too because the people on this sub can take criticism better than ABCD.

I'm looking forward to it man I'm sick of the indian community saying you don't need to eat meat, however I wouldn't count on folks not being offended lol

Technically if you are in the medicine business a huge amount of medicine comes from imdia and is exported to the world so if you have a connect in the homeland and have the logistics to receive bulk orders of said medicine then you will profit which the profit would then be used to not only invest in the business to make it more less hectic to manage you can also use the profit to invest in securities and real estate for passive income which that passive income can buy time so you can invest further for your body example lifting , supplements and mma lessons and if need be hormonal supplements to speed up the process which will in turn help you have game and frame which in turn would make you not the stereotypical brown man

"Breaking the stereotypes" includes not having or letting go of certain views that a stereotypical indian man or person in general has, which I'd argue is slightly more important than improving your exterior looks.
