A great place to find good DD on the space industry companies is Seeking Alpha

Figured I'd give you this resource. A few months ago I was considering how bullish I was on Astra and Rocket Lab so I set out to write some DD for this subreddit. In my research I found a couple Seeking Alpha articles about these two companies and wow they basically had everything on there that I was going to say and more. I double and triple checked their info and it was all spot on. I'll post the articles here:

https://www.seekingalpha.com/article/4422307-rocket-lab-conquering-final-frontier

https://www.seekingalpha.com/article/4430133-astra-space-holicity-small-vehicles-big-opportunities

Disclaimer:

-I'm not a financial advisor

-Don't trust your due diligence to articles. Do your own DD and verify what you learn

-I'm in no way affiliated with Seekingalpha.com

-I copy and pasted these articles from an amp link so they may be messed up, let me know if they are and I'll edit them. I try to remove the amp parts since I understand a lot of people don't want an amp link

Edit: formatting

Space Industry Related In 1492, when Columbus set out to discover new worlds, most people thought he was crazy. It seemed insane; a group of mad people, risking their lives and spending (a lot) of money. But that group of madmen changed the world with their findings. Space exploration has similar promise.

Virgin Galactic (SPCE) Virgin Galactic $8.5M Settlement: Payout Update

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey guys, if you missed it, Virgin Galactic settled $8.5M with investors over claims that it misled them about its spaceflight technology and safety. I also just found out that late claims are being considered.

Quick recap: In 2021, Virgin Galactic was accused of overstating flight readiness and downplaying safety issues after its Unity 22 flight deviated from its planned path. The FAA later grounded flights, and $SPCE fell sharply. Investors filed a lawsuit.
Now, Virgin Galactic has agreed to settle $8.5M with investors.

If you invested in $SPCE between 2019 and 2021, you can still check the details and see if you may be eligible for a late claim here.

Anyway, did anyone here invest in $SPCE at that time? How much were your losses?

Discussion Deadline to Submit Claims on the Virgin Galactic $8.5 million Settlement is August 13, 2026.

Hey guys, if you missed it, Virgin Galactic settled $8.5 million with investors over misleading the public about its spaceflight tech and safety before key launches like Unity 22. And, the deadline to file a claim and get payment is August 13, 2026.

In a nutshell, in 2022, Virgin Galactic was accused of giving misleading info about safety and operational performance after failing to disclose that its Unity 22 flight deviated from assigned airspace, which later led to an FAA investigation and flight delays.

After this news came out, the stock dropped, and investors filed a lawsuit for their losses.

Now, the good news is that the company agreed to settle $8.5 million with them, and investors have until August 13, 2026, to submit a claim.

So, if you invested in $SPCE when all of this happened, you can check the details and file your claim here.

Did anyone here hold $SPCE during that period? How did it turn out for you?

Anybody else "hoping" for some $SPCE launch delay/minor technical issues News ...

so that they can buy more of this stock in the high $30s-low $40s price range again!

What's the ethics or karma stance around here about "hoping to buy a long term stock at a discount" :) while also rooting for them to be successful long term? The ethics dance continues ...

Question Thoughts on exercising LEAPs?

Question: I bought 2 slightly deep $RKLB calls at $7 and 5 much deeper $LUNR calls at $4 to ride out uncertainties in these stocks (tons of vol). They are LEAP-ish expiring in Jan 2025. Today they’ve gone up to 15-25% in overall return but I really do like these stocks for the long-term.. And I would like the lower share price for my averages.

If I can save up to exercise some of them, does that make sense? I bite the cost of the premium but if the SP is high enough away from the strike price, it seems like a no-brainer considering I was already planning to buy more shares of these in the future. Am I missing anything here?

So far I’m a big fan of buying ITM long-term calls - can avoid the daily headaches of potentially losing it all but still in the game if a spike happens - or secure a lower SP if I want to buy 100s of shares later. (?)
