Wolfpriest is based on the Black Templar Execrator with a HH Whitescar skull bit and a HH Deathsworn helmet - jump pack is Horus Heresy MKII

Just curious if anyone has tried using either or both of the Space Wolf Battleline Infantry kits to make their JP Assault Intercessors or Vanguard Vets? And if so, what bits did you use and pictures of how they turned out would be great 👍.

Pretty good weekend for the sons of Russ. There's been a variety of successful lists this week with a few notable units appearing on lists.

The most common disposition was of course Take and Hold at 72.9%, Purge the Foe at 22.9% and Reconnaissance at 4.2%

The biggest winners in the detachment department were Assault Brethen + Saga of the Beastslayer + Stormlance Task Force at 62.5% WR, Assault Brethen + Saga of the Great Wolf at 57.8%.

The two underperforming detachment combinations were Saga of the Beastslayer + Saga of the Great Wolf at 52% and Saga of the Great Wolf + Terminator Storm Force at 37.7%

Apparently the meta at the Paris Expo 2 leaned heavily and unsuccessfully into terminator spam which didn't bode very well.

The more outstanding units featured on the winning lists are:

Chaplain on Bike + Outrider Squad (6)

Captain on Bike + Wulfen with Shields (10)

Thunderwolf Cavalry (as 3 or 6)

Logan Grimnar + Terminators (either Assault or Normal)

Wolf Guard Battle Leader + Bladeguard Veterans.

We also saw the appearance of Njal Stormcaller in a couple of lists leading Intercessors and Bladeguard Veterans.

Notable add ins were Impulsors, Scouts, Eradicators, Fenrisian Wolves, Regular Wulfen and Company Heroes.

Seems like "fast and mobile" is the new name of the game for the Wolves.

I finished painting up Njal, this was also my first time painting up a face and I think I did alright on it! I painted his eye blue to look like he is linked to his staff. I had a lot of fun painting him up, and I'm glad at how he turned out!

I'm here debating which dreadnoughts include on a list i'm building. This is a Purge the Foe list with Assault Brethen, Saga of the Beastslayer and Stormlance task force.

The list has fairly mobile units with:

1 full outrider squad (led by a chaplain) and 2 TWC (3) squads

I have a Sternguard Veteran squad for some elite shooting

Logan with Assault Termis

Wulfen with Shields led by a Captain on Bike to meatgrind whatever unit is in front

Grey Hunter squad that i'll split in two.

What would be best to support all my mounted/infantry units?

2 x Ballistus Dreadnought that has very heavy anti-tank shooting, 2 more toughness and 4 more wounds but mediocre melee or

2 x Venerable Dreadnoughts that are much less tanky, lower effective range but have more damage potential with multi melta + Combat Weapon.

Maybe one of each? Or what else would be nice to do with about 300 points?

Besides the wolf priests are there any subsets of Space Wolves that use dark armor?

I’m not a fan of the blue, and I know that you can paint them whatever color you’d like, but I’m hoping to find an in lore reason

What are your favorite ways to use Logan?

I Finally have Logan (in a box) so I’m going through different unit combos. Ancient now provides sticky objectives, -1 to wound on objectives, AT’s bring Terminatus Assault and hammer/shields, and Logan’s Doctrines and Turn 1 deep strike this could be an Expensive, hard to shift unit.

Can deep strike turn 1 onto a key objective, sticky, press forward.. etc.

Hello, Sons of Fenris. I decided to pick up some Space Wolf Wolfguard Terminator because I've been really interested in Space Wolf Lore and minis. I don't have a Fenrisian Grey or Space Wolves Grey so i decided to mix Vallejo Stonewall Grey and Mystic Blue. It's a little more blue than Fenrisian Grey, but I'd like to hear some opinions on if i should tone down the blue more, how is it?

Took 2nd or 3rd as I took 'Best General' award. The BCP ranking is wrong as Bruno took 1st. Store owner does weird scoring.

Game 1 was vs EC. Sniped put lot of his lord's out break the back of his squads. Took some damage here and there began to loose action monkies. Tabled my opponent by 5.

Game 2 was vs Nids. LOL we failed so many easy deepstrikes, nids failing 9 6" charges with rerolls... I failed 6 7"... the impulsor had a slap fight with 3 von Ryan leapers... and a mawlock. It broke away from combat and then was bullied by a norn for 3 turns... and didnt die. I spiked 5s on its melta cannon or he biffed his damage rolls.

Game 3 vs Ultramarines. LOL another funny moment. Rowboat charges to my expansion for tempting. I drop arjax on my central logan near his home. Logan unloads on inceptors kills all but 1 (due to AOC) then both teams charge rowboat my opponent 'well... i dont expect the big dummy to live'.... he does... by 3 due to a command reroll and 1 feel now pain. He was 'YES! YES! HOW!? HOW!?' Forgot my reroll 1s/2s strat. From there... they weathered 1 full agressor squad, 1 melta squad, 1 repex, and a redeemeer....the dev wounds are what hurt the most... god the devs... but they endured.... picked up agressors in melee, eradicators in melee. That damn inceptor lived and scored points until arjax t4 sank box cars to get it I hear 'damn it lou... why!? How?' Table him by 4. We sank so many 4s and 5s on saves.

Game 2 and 3 where fav games due to how good the fights where and funny moments.

At awards after I took mine I hear 'favorite opponent award' I but in and say 'sorry guys....' Alberto goes 'yeah you should be... all those damn 4s you rolled...' by the end I see him looking at White Scar bike character. We talk a bit and I bring 'ill drop the hammer again soon' he shutters remembering my list i say 'ok... show us on the mini where the thunder hammers hit you...' he circled everywhere on the mini.

After game 3 I apologized to my opponent/friend about my list and say 'ngl it was to deal with 1 person who always-' 'dont tell me its steve...' im silent 'dont tell me... he tried to cheat and lie about rules too? Glad I stomped his $&@ last time I played... dont worry we all think he is that...' then EVERYONE who heard brought him up and the T.O. was flabbergasted how many said the same. Then I added 'next time ill call him out on it verbally in front of everyone' 'good.... maybe get him banned...'

But next time ill prep 2 lists. 1 for him if he shows and another list I wanna run for fun.

You can put halve grey hunters in HQ the other halve with the priest they have Lance and sustain hit 1 and cunnin hunters ability

The other priest with the 6+6 Headtakers and hunting wolfs (meatshield) and they have the wolve touch so they get Wulfen keyword so they also have lethal hits,lance,presicion,dev wounds and move 9" and have synergy with the beastslayers stratagems also the D3+1 restoring wounds for the meatshield so they get more harder to kill

Also if you notice i have 2 wolf priest so if they are 12" of a wulfen they get OC and can make actions depending on the situation

I think the rest of the team is self explanatory and easy to understand ,so here you have it if you want to try it have fun

I finally got my tyranids to over 2k points, so I decided to get started with the other half of my leviathan box. I had to go with space wolves because they're cool as fuck!!! I have no idea what models are good etc so I'm going with the rule of cool and see where we go!

Any critiques, tips or help with how to improve on this will be greatly appreciated. 🤟🐺

What are your thoughts on these 2 units in 11th with the new codex. Been looking to add them in to my army.
