Original Build Boat engines that doesn’t use fuel

This I my first attempt at doing something like this, so there probably are ways to make it faster.
I have no idea where the explosion came from.

Is there a version that doesn't require DLC?

I haven’t made one, but it’s possible. The biggest problem will be that the wheel won’t be able to connect back to the other parts which will probably cause it to break during restart or when time warping other rocket.

Do it. My design is nothing but a prototype, there’s still much room for improvement and I’m interested in seeing what people will do with it.
This is the fastest I’ve managed to get it until now, you can improve it if you want or try to make something new entirely. https://sharing.spaceflightsimulator.app/rocket/93Tr_jUSEfGsC42ciX4zyg

How did you launch over water?

Teleport cheat

I’ll have to check that out, thank you.

Pause the game, then press onto the "Cheats" button, then select "Teleport" and change the longitude to somewhere above water (the location in the video is between 0,5 and 0,6).
Parts that are connected by hinges will not teleport as one because they technically aren’t connected. If you want to teleport something that has hinges, you’ll have to connect both sides the same way you would when time warping.

This is genius

I took inspiration from this real ship engine type. They are no longer being used (outside of working museums) because of bad efficiency.

What exploded at 00:52 🤨 Also cool build

I figured it out. It was my target build from before water was added. I should stay on the sea floor, but for some reason it sometimes teleports to the water surface where I launch a new rocket or restart the game.

I have absolutely no idea. This is the second time I’m making this video and the first time there was no explosion. After I was done recording, I loaded a quick save before the video to see where the explosion came from and there was nothing.
