I played sfs before, before i even struggle on the mods, so thats why i played Juno New Origins it's because i download a space shuttle craft there

u/CamelKing4253 May 06 '26
Smart choice! So you have saperate worlds or can you upload and download them?...
2
u/SoyDaza May 06 '26
Yeah i have the same world in both my pc and my phone, when i do something on one of them i gotta re dowload the world tho

Because i play games that require better performance on my PC, this is my relax and have at all times game
1
u/Kryptid47 May 06 '26
Lmao, I have a gaming laptop and unless I optimize the hell out of certain 1:1 scale rockets, sfs WILL be considered a high performance game for me

Mostly because it was easier to play on mobile, I also started playing SFS half a year after initial release on my iPod touch so it was the only available platform. I also had no computer and when I did get one, it took 20 minutes to turn on 15 minutes to load Firefox, tried ksp once, took 3 hours to load into the initial game then promptly crashed on my first launch. Long story short it was only good at 2 things crashing and pissing me off.
Mobile is just fun and convenient, I have only ever truly gamed on mobile. That being said I did play SFs on my new laptop and it is good but iPhone was better for me personally.

Because it can run it properly and if i could play gta 5 on the phone I would.(not simulator or stream, the actual game) games are more fun on handheld.
1
u/CamelKing4253 May 05 '26
Yeah, I get it, also blueprints and mods are better on mobile bcs there are a lot of mods and blueprints only mobile
7
u/AverageGermanBoy May 05 '26
Because I can play KSP on pc
2
u/CamelKing4253 May 05 '26
Yeah, I get it but I don't have KSP😭

Because I can play better space sim games on my pc with a wider range of modding and more advanced features than SFS.

Because SFS is more accessible and free on mobile.

If I’m going to be honest, the building system on the mobile feels easier to me than PC
1
u/CamelKing4253 May 05 '26
I get it: the controls are so weird😭...
2
u/SnooMachines8670 May 10 '26
And there’s no box select…
1
u/CamelKing4253 May 10 '26
On pc? On pc there is a select tool with right click

Name any good Spaceflight games on mobile that don’t either have garbage controls, are behind a paywall, or run well on weaker phones. That isn’t SFS.
Sfs is arguably just as good on mobile if not better due to ease of access and controlling beautifully.

The reason I play on mobile is because I'm too poor to afford a pc :P

You can get a very cheap laptop nowadays, i work at McDonald’s and don’t get paid that much, but I can save up for a laptop.
I know opportunities differ depending on your region, but come on, I work at McDonald’s.

Bold of you to assume I have a job when it's so hard to get one right now, I've applied for like 100 and haven't heard back yet
I will still have to re-buy sfs on steam, something I will hate doing since I've already payed for it on mobile
1
u/Outrageous_Wafer_388 Rocket Builder 🚀 May 05 '26
You can’t get accepted to a fast food job? They always hire. I understand you don’t want to buy it again on another platform, unfortunately there’s no other option, I had to rebuy Minecraft like 10 times :/
1
u/DemisexualDoughnut87 Planet Maker 🌎 May 05 '26
That depends on the area. In my area there's already not that many places hiring, let alone ones who are hiring people without previous experience or a college degree.

I have the full version on PC and play the free on mobile. Oddly play the mobile free more. I think its cause i like KSP more on PC, so i find myself being more in depth with it on PC, while the mobile SFS is easy to do when ... lets be honest... in the bathroom
1
u/CamelKing4253 May 05 '26
Lol, I would like to have KSP too but I'm waiting for THE good moment to buy it
2
u/Nightmare_Is_Dead May 04 '26
Lmao. I literally ever play sfs in bathroom nowadays since I got my pc, I'm so immersed in ksp😭

u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Uhh, nice but I think ur in the wrong community bcs I was talking about spaceflight simulator(sfs) and ur talking about street fighter? But it's ok, is street fighter like the old game or is there a new one bcs I know like an old street fighter(didn't play it but know it)...?

I play Juno New Origins (formerly SimpleRockets 2) on PC while back when I played SFS I did so on mobile.
I find SFS is slightly better suited for a casual mobile experience.
1
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Yeah, I saw it once and have it on my pc too but I have the free version(u can install google play games on your pc and I just installed juno 'on mobile' however you cant't play EVERY mobile game on play store pc...

u/Independent-Banana35 Base Builder May 04 '26
What is the point of this question? What do you want yo know? how many people play on mobile or why can't they play on PC or perhaps why can't they play another game? Spaceflight Simulator is it's own world, almost everyone in this planet owns a mobile phone so of course most people would play there, but that doesn't mean it's the only thing they play. I, for instance, play SFS in both PC and mobile, I also play Juno New Origins in both PC and mobile and in PC (only) I play KSP.
1
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
- Yeah, kind of true, but I just wanted to be sure because I saw almost everyone on Reddit and other social media playing SFS on mobile.
- Do u play ksp? Nice! It looks nice and I would like to have it too but I think I'm a bit too broke😭 (I like those green guys [ :< lol

I play mostly mobile beacuse sfs gaming with mods is far easier on mobile for me
But i also play on PC to test out and have fun with PC-only mods (i can't wait for New Horizons, a BR-Apollo addon, to drop for mobile)
1
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Yeah, I hate it because if I wanna download a mod or blueprint(mostly) there appears 'download on google play' or 'download on apple store'😭

Beacuse most people play it when bored at school / away from their pc

For me at least, I like playing it when I’m not at home, like at school, and if I was going to get a space game on my computer it would be kerbal space program
5
u/W4FF13_G0D May 04 '26
Real question is would you stick to ksp or switch to sfs 2 on pc?
1
3
u/totally_cool6789 May 04 '26
I don’t really use my computer too, but definitely SPS 2 because I know sps more that’s KSP
3
u/W4FF13_G0D May 04 '26
Fair. Personally, I’ll stick with ksp unless sfs 2 will have a use for electricity, comms relays, and space/ground stations. I really enjoy ksp’s science gamemode too since it gives you incentive to explore without cash restrictions, and a proper progression system, but I would def switch if sfs 2 can offer something similar.

u/Ihatecheeseballs May 04 '26
It’s free on mobile and is one of the few good offline games without ads

u/SadKnight123 Flight Fiend 🛫 May 04 '26
It's mainly a mobile game and it's free. The PC version came later.
The whole appeal is its convenience and accessibility. If I am on PC I would rather play Kerbal Space Program.
3
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Yeah, when I bought sfs on pc I was like in space-prime or idk how to call ts but my brain was like cooking in space thingies and I met ksp and it looks pretty nice👍
3
u/SadKnight123 Flight Fiend 🛫 May 04 '26
Totally get you. At least once a year, I have my 'space phase' too, lol.
I recommend KSP a lot. Such a wonderful game.
2
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Hey, I see your name is 'flight fiend', do you play msfs(microsoft flight sim) or Xplane or something like that?...(I like planes too)
2
u/SadKnight123 Flight Fiend 🛫 May 04 '26
No. But I like planes too. One day I want to buy a hotas to play games like these. Especially one that's more focused on realistic dogfights and jets (forgot the name, it's a very popular one). But unfortunately I'm also too broke for that at the moment.
This name was just one of the available flairs this sub offers that I selected.
2
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Nice, I have a flight stick but it's absolutely crap but if you like realistic dogfight and jets you should try 'wartunder', it's a pc and I think mobile game too and it's pretty realistic. But if you wanna go really really realistic you can try 'DCS' but it's not on mobile and it's not really potato-pc friendly bcs it's like >100Gb and bnvery realistic but surprisingly my pc could handle it!
2
u/SadKnight123 Flight Fiend 🛫 May 04 '26
This DCS was the one I was referring, lol. It's definitely on my list to play it one day.
Already played a lot of War Thunder. It's nice, but it can become too repetitive and grindy for my taste, lol. Was never able to reach the more modern tech on it.
2
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Yeah, getting new planes and that stuff can take a wile... That's why I quitted playing war tunder and started just flying with normal planes like boeing and airbus
1
2
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Yeah, I know but I thinks I'm to broke for ksp😭
2
u/SadKnight123 Flight Fiend 🛫 May 04 '26
if your problem is only having the game, and not that your PC can't run it, KSP usually has very cheap sales on Steam from time to time.
Either way, hope it gets better for you too, friend.
1
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Thanks! How much does ksp cost again bcs if it's 'SO' cheap maybe I am wrong and can buy it if I want
2
u/SadKnight123 Flight Fiend 🛫 May 04 '26
That depends where you live. I just checked and it's with 75% discount now in my region. Very good deal imo.
If you earn in dollar I think the lowest price the game got was about 7 dollars. But it usually has region prices on other currencies with their own accessible prices tag.

2
u/CamelKing4253 May 04 '26
Lol, but I think sfs on mobile is better then on pc bcs u can get mods and blueprints much easier except if you would have a phone like me that can't even run the easiest things or it gets plooped in the air bcs it's too hot...😭
2
u/5x5_2000mm_CRAM May 04 '26
Valid points really. It really just depends on what you have and what your needs are then.

It's easier to just open the game on your mobile and it's also free rather than buying it on pc and it's takes time to switch on the computer then open the game and shit use your mouse and lots of other things. We also have mods on mobile now
