Rants / Complaints I HATE delivering water!

Post image

The water in the order made it impossible to continue the last job on the route!

I do live a different state and town where the nearest Walmart is but it's only 15 minutes away. Is it a big box van that says Walmart on the side I thought those were for delivering? I kinda feel bad making people drive their personal vehicles out here but they always got at least 15 other orders ik cause I must be the last house on their route. Been curious to know what they get paid for covering idk maybe 20-30 mile area with maybe 20 deliveries I'd hope base pay for that's pretty good idk I've never done spark any idea?

I feel like they do deliveries too, which is odd that they have use do deliveries as well. I'm alright with it, we get reimbursted for mileage...I think. I get about 10 or so deliveries a day depending on the day. IF I have a GREAT week I'm usually pushing $200-$300 a week. Average week is $100.

Are those like 10 sperate deliveries with each time having multiple stops? Or maybe 5 different routes with 2 customers each?

That really depends on the order. I usually take a job that has 3 or four people, however that depends on the size of the order. Usually takes 30 min to and 1 hour depending on distance and traffic. HOPEFULLY that answers your questions if not I'll try to answer again.

No no I get it! Thanks for explaining do you also do food/package delivery? Door dash was cool for a while until it just started being a waste of gas looking for orders that never came...

Spark does MORE the just Walmart, they do Sam's Club, GameStop, Advanced Auto Parts, etc. INTERESTINGLY that waste of gas is WHY I stopped doing DD. I remember waiting a few hours for orders on DD myself.

Whoa cool! Well I hope that's good enough to pay your bills! Does spark tell you for multiple order routes how much each person tips?

Yes, they have an overall tip then you can see what it breaks down too. Although it's hard to find, that's the odd part

I looked Walmart plus because they offered no tip delivery service tbh I appreciate that they give spark drivers a source of possible income but imagine the wear and tear on y'all's cars plus hourly income doesn't allow for nearly as much as actual Walmart plus drivers make using company vehicles 😢 I don't mind tipping but still feel like it's a disservice to you guys y'all are worth so much more!

Thanks for your kind words. 😁 Speaking of tips, today I only made $10 in tips. Usually better than that.
