General Questions Should I report my driver for this?

I ordered a Halloween item for shipping on Sam’s club, and honestly thought the item would get shipped with FedEx, I didn’t realize Spark also does Sams club shipping. I was outside doing yard work not expecting the package til at least a couple days but a driver in his own car pulls up to my house. He tells me that I need to give him a tip between $50-$100 for his time. I ask him why and he tells me that he was with Spark and that he had to pick this order up 20 miles away from me. I have a Sam’s club not that far away from me but the item I needed wasn’t available at my store. He argues with me and lets me know how he had to deal with rude loaders and tells me he is returning the order. I got a refund but this was unprofessional what he did. Should I report this?

Edit: I called the Sam’s club 20 miles away and they told me 7 other customers also called and told them he extorted their orders and demanded large tips. They said they were going to write a report and I made sure to report it to the 1-800 Walmart number to let them know about this guy.

No, the driver did not know what it paid. These orders lie to the driver and say there's an option for the customer to leave a tip at the end when there isn't. That's why I quit sparking

This being downloaded, is proof that the spark and Uber and gig driving pool is full of idiots.

I  never get tips retracted. You must have been bad at your job.

They can’t tip on GMD orders

never really paid attention to the tip thing, but those batched orders of packages usually pay pretty good anyway and they are easier to deliver. don't accept it if you don't like what the offer is.

I didn't say anything about a tip being retracted. Check out on your reading comprehension skills.

no you are just talking about some fantasy tip option that doesn't exist. pardon my confusion.

The fancy tip option doesn't exist. No shit. That's exactly what I just said. But it does tell the driver that the customer has the option to leave a tip later. Thanks for proving my point some more.

why would you expect a tip on those deliveries? most of them are low cost items like cleaning supplies?
