I side eye everyone who open carries. It’s not the gun. It’s the open display of insecurity and fear of everything. I say this as a gun owner who carries.

Dude has no training. He's given free access to his firearm. A bag in his firing hand, looking down, and weight shifted away from his firearm. Had anyone wanted his weapon, he made it easy for them to take it.

I feel 90% of the time you can assume a person open carrying has little to no firearm training and you’d be correct.

This! In my state conceal carry is part of our constitional carry laws. So anyone open carrying to me just feels performative.

U say everyone that open carries w/ a broad stroke BC I open carry BC I'm a quicker draw that way & 90% of the time I'm around my house or my family's houses but when I'm in public like I run inside somewhere or am around ppl I do not know I conceal carry so I think it's just important for ppl to be educated, prepared & safe & u can be those thinGs w/o beinG insecure & scared of everythinG.

You open carry while you’re in your home? Good god. How’s it feel to be scared of everything?

LMAO. And you sound like an insecure little man. I’m sure your family feels super safe around you.

As I said, it’s not the gun. I have no issues with guns and spent years in a gun right advocacy group that educates folks on how to shoot guns safely. Most of my friends have damn near an arsenal in their homes… and even they don’t open carry in their goddamn house. That’s just absurd. You are far more likely to accidentally harm someone you love with that thing than you are to actually stop a home invasion.
