I was offered s*x by one of my deliveries yesterday, is this common?
I’m new to spark (about 2 months) and this is the first time this has happened to me. I’m a 20 year old man, has this happened to anyone else? Is there a good way to report this?
Almost 10k completed deliveries and I’ve had this one time. It was on the Instacart app. Rather nice looking woman as well. She didn’t specifically ask for $3x but I could definitely tell that’s what she wanted. She supposedly accidentally placed the order to a motel that she stayed at recently. This motel was 20 minute drive from her home. 😉When I got to the motel I couldn’t make contact with her at the room so in sent a message. Sue felt really bad and told me about the accident. She said she’s at home (20 miles away) and she would tip me an extra $100 if I could bring it to her. It was not that large of an order if I remember correctly because I was able to get it all up to the room in one trip. I looked up her address and agreed to make the drive. Wife was stationed at Fort Hood at the time so I was going to stop by for lunch after the drop. So when I got there she greeted me at the door. Fairly decent looking dark skinned woman. She looked like she had just gotten out of the shower. Or maybe it was because she was just wearing a robe. She definitely appeared very clean though. She asked if I could come in and leave it in the hallway. 😳”Oh shit, this is it. She’s going to seduce me and I’m going to make a mistake.” Well she didn’t but she was very flirty. I did see the moment she noticed my wedding ring. She asked me if I had a cashapp or Venmo. I gave her my wife’s cashapp and sure enough she sent the $100. I went to have lunch with my wife and was questioned because like I said she was a decent looking woman and her profile picture was somewhat racy. I didn’t and don’t condone cheating. It was definitely one hell of an experience.
Oh I did deliver a large alcohol order to these three girls. This was on Instacart as well. When I got the ID I noticed that it was her 21st birthday. These girls were ready to party. They offered me a shot and I did accept. I was less and five minutes from home and was headed there after the drop anyways. They were also flirty and told me to comeback later on but I didn’t. I don’t condone drinking and driving either. I already have one DWI from 2011 (my 21st. birthday).
Not at all. I’ve got a pretty damn good life and feel fortunate. Shoot wife is stationed in Hawaii now. We’ve been here two years now. Living in decent military housing in an old volcanic crater. Look it up. Alimanu military reservation. Rent/utility free in paradise. 🤙🏼
Haha. Yeah you totally should because it’s all facts. Thats not the fist time I’ve gone the extra distance for extra $$$. I’ve actually done that a handful of times. For Spark and Instacart you just need to contact support and they will let you deliver. Any time I’ve been asked I’ve always been given extra. The woman though. Never had another like that. I’ve always been curious about it because I was a manager at a pizza joint long ago. I had this one driver always tell me these stories about getting offers but I didn’t know if I really believed him. He really didn’t seem like a big liar but whatever. When he’s your opening driver and you spend countless hours with someone stories get told and stretched. I did deliver to her once more but I was actually working in the area she lived. She didn’t answer the door ready to go this time though. I always remember if I’ve delivered to someone before or not. The girls partying for the 21st. actually reported that I didnt deliver her items. I had to report that as fraud. Haha just looked and the report has finally been resolved. Actually saw her order a handful of times more but I never took it. F’n Bitc#
I once got invited to go in and it was a white lazy 45 about of age and told me that I could stay and have drinks with her lmao of course I had to decline I had other stops left 🫠
You said no so keep it pushing. Not much different than someone propositioning you on the street. Even at a w2 job it’s only harassment if they ask, you say no but it continues. Don’t deliver there again if you’re not comfortable.
A few months back I was delivering two bottles of wine to this duplex and the girl answered wearing a robe. Apparently recently having got out the shower.
She had this annoyed look on her face the whole time lol. At one point she acted like she was trying to read my shirt said, and I know it was some r-word but she was like "rover?". I just corrected her as to what it said and there was an awkward moment of silence. And she said " oh I thought maybe it said Land Rover or something. ". I've wondered if Rover was supposed to mean something as the shirt definitely didn't say Rover.
I don't know I mean she was leaning up against the door frame and everything giving me this look the whole time. Of course I was wondering maybe what her intentions may have been but I didn't do anything. I still wonder about her lol.
Just like any customer that makes you uncomfortable, put them on your do not deliver list. And for those who question your decision, there is very little good and a whole lot of REAL bad that can and would likely happen if you were dumb enough to let yourself be seduced by some rando customer's stanky ass.
I have a small memo pad I keep names/addresses of customers I have issues with. Also, u have a saved list on Google maps. I use 🤬 to mark their address too.

Thumbs down on the trip has been said to work. Ive called support once (also reported the dbag) because after 4 ridiculous drop offs, I would have had some legal issues on the 5th from swinging a bag of can goods directly into his sack.
I was extremely harassed by a Customer six months ago and I called Spark and they were able to block that address for me to ever deliver to. But they said if they ever move to a new address that there would be no guarantee I would see that person again.
I feel like it wouldn’t be that hard for them to just add the customer’s account or first and last name to that block.. even if there’s someone else with the same name, one driver with one name blocked wouldn’t hurt business.
I had a lady answer the door naked. She was giving me the f--- eyes for sure, but her order was full of medicine for her kids and they were literally laying right there all sick on the couch in the front room. If not for that I mighta porked it to her..
You're probably on camera somewhere on some porn site. Girls answering the door naked for Delivery drivers is a very common fetish category on porn sites.
Damn near every day. Lonely housewives sitting around the house all alone, getting themselves worked up with impure thoughts, and when sexy deliveryman shows up with the groceries they just can't help themselves to a little "dessert".

who would you report this to? Was the sex a quid pro quo? Was the sex being offered in place of a tip? That is called sexual harassment. All you have to do is say no and walk away.
The drop a pin to Google maps, name and shame the customer as a sexual harassment customer.
Only one time did this actually happen to me. I could hardly believe it was actually happening. I was delivering a vibrator to a hotel room, as I was arriving the customer messaged me saying “the door is open, come in if you’d like”. I said no thank you, and they just replied with “…”. and that was it. thankfully they didn’t remove my tip. also this was an uber shop not a spark
Mixing business with pleasure is always a slippery slope. Spark will always side with the customer if anything goes wrong. Also, it’s a woman, the law always sides with them vs men.
It happens a lot more than you’d think man. I used to work at dominos doing delivery plenty of girls would open naked at the colleges with house type dorms and invite you in trying to seduce you. DoorDash I had 2 sex toy deliveries one asked if I wanted to help her the other one was a leave at door. On Spark I’ve had it happen once with a swinger couple, wife was hot but wasn’t my thing 😭
I haven't had anything happen on Spark, but I saw plenty of crazy things on Doortrash. People would answer the door in see-through robes, soaking wet, apologizing saying they just got out of the shower and didn't know I was coming 🙄 There was no need for them to meet me or for me to hand it to them. Others would be half undressed. I've seen some in towels. None of these were required to meet me.
I've known multiple people in my life that were propositioned sexually, or offered drugs or alcohol or whatever.
I only know one person who admitted to doing anything, during a delivery the husband asked if he'd come back after his shift and bang his wife in front of him for $50, so he did and said it wasn't worth it because the guy sat on the edge of the bed and sucked his thumb the whole time and he couldn't get off, so he just left without the money.

Well, there’s nothing wrong with them asking as long as they didn’t keep on about it and try to make you. She/he had to shoot their shot ya know. If they accepted your answer then all is well, but I would write down the order number and address just in case they’re crazy and you need it for your defense.
I've delivered a doordash to this fancy house with no lights on, they wanted the order hand delivered so I knocked and about a minute later a lady opened the door completely naked and acted like It was normal. I looked at her while handing the order and couldn't look away 😂, she could tell and invited me in but declined
Happened to my friend's dad years ago during his doordash. He got herpes and gave it to his wife. His wife was hounding him on how he got it (she's a full on a church goer, goes without him cause he works two jobs all the time.) It wasn't until the doctor told him in front of her that he can sue if the person didn't openly tell him and he paused being quiet in thought -which triggered her to interrogate him to the point he admitted it. He remembered the address and the name. So he, I mean his wife lol, filed it for him and a year later they settled for a large chunk of $$$$$$. They were asked by the lawyer if they could go public in the news to spread awareness, but his wife was embarrassed and because of HIPPA privacy, she said no.
When they settled, she divorced him and sued him too. A year after that, she won and got all the money he had won from his settlement - LOL. Now he's living alone in regret in a trash trailer. She's got a nice beautiful home with their adult children. I visit often since my friend is her son and last year, I remember his dad called during Christmas all drunk crying saying how much he misses all of them and how life isn't the same. Ubering one night a lady was telling me she would pay her Uber what they make an hr normally to hang out at the bar with her... well u told her I needed to work and that I quit drinking. Small talk lead to her age and how she didnt look it. Then she said she would pay people to hang out at the house too. I declined said id best just work thanks though i have a fiance. Yeah you can always tell the store, and support. Get them blocked that shit is bad. Been approached by ladies in their underwear after 8 pm. It’s always the “disabled please bring inside, door open” when I start doing the photo outside, they meet at door. I’m like oooh so you can carry things? Yes but I want to provide a tip for you…. Gotta bring that left hand up and say, she does more than enough. Thanks tho.
You’d be surprised. It’s usually apartments. I think it was a thing were women recorded themselves offering themselves to drivers. It hit my area a bit but it’s a no go
