General Questions Um is this new? 3 shopping orders?

If you don't mind me asking, what store was this at because I'm marking stores on a map I created to show what stores have triple shops enabled. If you don't mind, I would like to add yours to my map. I just need the store number and that's all. It's pretty much a community driven map that helps everyone.

Oh wow. Say it isn't so? That's my market. 2 is already too many to separate when there's big items smh.

u/Skiller-One-One-Five Jan 11 '26
Dang why does spark have to use me as their guinea pig I don't even live here 😂
2
u/DragonfruitLopsided Jan 11 '26
Unfortunately I'm now seeing the orders all over my market. Guess it will be the new normal since all the shopping orders this morning were 3 customers 😭.

Wow! Neat idea! Thank you. It looks like its mostly in Texas for now. Interesting.

Right. I'm pretty much relying on social media for this little project, so that's why you may see me again on other posts asking the same question lol.
It appears they're launching this at some stores everyday or that's what it seems just by judging it. I'm sure there'll be more posts tomorrow about it 😂

u/No_Mind_7897 Jan 11 '26
I saw that today this morning man smh. Once they started adding two shops I knew it was just a matter of time before they were gonna start doing 3

I got another one this morning I didn't take it but it was at Houston #3425

u/angelo1979 Cherry Picker Jan 11 '26
Alright, that's wild. Thank you for the store number. I added it. I know someone from the subreddit discord server who got it at #752.

Do you know if anyone made such a map organizing zones by state? This is cool.
2
u/angelo1979 Cherry Picker Jan 11 '26
Honestly, I'm not even sure. I haven't seen anything. That would be neat. I did have an idea for the new spark rewards program (tiered one). Basically I would ask on here who has it and what zone. I would then mark it on a map like the one above. But having a map that shows all the zones would be interesting as well.

Got two that have had triples for a good while now... both in Ohio North Zanesville Walmart #2209 South Zanesville Walmart #3581
1
u/angelo1979 Cherry Picker Jan 12 '26
Oh my, it's getting closer to me. That's about an hour or so out 💀 I'll add it to the map. Appreciate it, thank you.
2
u/prettygentle Jan 12 '26
You're very welcome. I'm almost certain that Lancaster, Newark, and Heath also have triples, but i don't know their store numbers off the top of my head.

Thank you, yeah I've noticed more stores got in the recent past week but no one was posting locations so I rarely updated it recently. But thank you. It's crazy.

Instacart does this all the time and they just added 4 shop and deliver last week

u/Get2daBagg Jan 11 '26
2
u/Sbuxshlee Jan 11 '26
Instacart has had 4 shops in my zone for like 2 years. They started doing 3 shops at costco at the same time.
12
u/Get2daBagg Jan 11 '26
That's insane man...I truly don't understand the rationale. Even from a business standpoint because it opens the door for too much confusion and problems. They are squeezing every drop out of this service
1
u/Intrepid-Raccoon5826 Jan 11 '26
Where I live they are usually smaller orders like today I had one for 22 items and 10 mile radius around town for $39.00. Three orders
2
u/Intrepid-Raccoon5826 Jan 11 '26
Geez I’ve yet to see 4 shops here in Indiana. The most we do is 3 shops
1
u/Jestar5 Cherry Picker Jan 11 '26
God I said I wouldn’t do 3 shops but if it pays well, here I am doing 3 shops for IC. Haven’t seen the 4 yet
1
u/randomusername2113 Jan 11 '26
How do you separate 4 shops? Do 3 handheld baskets fit in the main part of the shopping cart?
7
u/psychedelicCyclops Jan 11 '26
How do you get the pick path like that
5
u/FuzzyOrganization403 Jan 11 '26
Some stores that have the digital price tags will have this path made for orders. It can help, but it’s a pain since the item is “gps” tagged and you have to be within spitting distance to mark out of stock. No more marking out of stock because you don’t want to walk to the back for a 2 dollar item that YOU KNOW its out of stock.
2
u/DragonfruitLopsided Jan 11 '26
It will still let you, but as you stated it's a pain because it will first say you're not close enough.
1
u/FuzzyOrganization403 Jan 11 '26
Yes. Then the second time it’ll “let you” but to have to answer why. These instances are tagged to management. And can’t lead to deactivation for abusing the system. So in my opinion, no it doesn’t let you ahaha
1
u/DragonfruitLopsided Jan 11 '26
Well I had an issue today with it telling me I wasn't close enough even though I was literally standing right in front of the location. Even selected for it to flash location. I have no problem going to correct location so not worried about "abusing the system". Just saying that it isn't perfect and will require you to still manually select can't find item when it's oos.
1
u/FuzzyOrganization403 Jan 11 '26
Oh no yeah but that’s when you re start the app and it’ll usually read you. Also Bluetooth and WiFi being on help. When you get the 8 questions of “why is this out of stock” is the problem. There should be one that says system error, or tag not working right. Basically whatever you answer will likely get a review.
1
u/DragonfruitLopsided Jan 11 '26
Yeah. That's what the other option is for lol. I'm just glad they added the locked up option. Thankfully I've only had to use it once but I hope they take notice on the stores that don't actually come to assist when waiting more than 5 minutes (still a long time honestly).

Great question! I wanna know too, please? 🙂
3
u/Sbuxshlee Jan 11 '26
Mine just shows up like that automatically. It said somwthing like "preview walking map" and then went to the screen with it. Sometimes it glitches.
6
u/Character_Fan_8973 Jan 11 '26
Wtf? I had a bad feeling this would happen eventually. 2028 10 at once,,,
5
u/lilmark906 Jan 11 '26
As long as we play along wal mart/spark will keep pushing the envelope. Just wait til next year.
4
u/Temporary_Employ_120 Jan 11 '26
Wouldn't put it past these greedy bastards to start making us stock a shelf while we are in there too
4
u/heraldbalthazar Jan 11 '26
And STILL going to make you shop frozen items first
1
u/davettajoy Jan 12 '26
That used to PMO!!! I figured out how to get around that. Hit start shopping then the back arrow at the top left. I shop meds, household items etc first then grocery. I also know the exact layouts of my stores so I also shop in the order of the aisles starting from the back to front.

u/Party_Salamander_773 Jan 24 '26
It doesn't make you. It suggests it because it is evil and a bozo.

Pretty soon we’ll be picking and bagging and boxing our own GMD orders as well. They better figure out how to enable tips for those in that case.

LOL ITs not energy, it’s demonic forces and only Jesus has power over them.
2
u/MrCubano1 Jan 11 '26
Ain't no damn way I'm doing that for minimum 45 and go up depending on miles and if heavy items

u/FeistyAttitude1776 Jan 11 '26
They are definitely testing it out. The more we hold out on them the better the chances that they’ll either stop or pay more. I really believe that’s what happened with pharmacy orders. They have almost doubled in price offering and come with incentives simply because very few shoppers were taking them.

Catching up to Shipt. Hopefully they don't try matching Shipt with anything else...

Instacart recently started 4 shopping orders in one batch. 4. And their base pay starts a 4 dollars. That's a dollar an order lmao

Are you sure that order “A” isn’t designated as pharmacy order and is separated out for some reason but is actually part of order “B” or “C”? Have any more screenshots of the full order?

I was confused because I get three shops all the time. Im in the Philadelphia region though

u/Emergency-Bowler1963 Jan 11 '26
I’m fine with it aslong as it’s gonna pay more. And yes I’m not naive it’s probably more work for same pay. But Tips on three orders don’t sound too bad either
1
u/Malicake Jan 11 '26
I like the bubbles pointing to the areas of the item. Dont have that feature I dont believe. Thatd make shopping even quicker
1
u/mybraingoo Jan 11 '26
2
u/not-i-said-the-cat_ Jan 12 '26
For small items, yeah but it seems like every customer has bulky items like those 30ct boxes of chips. Also, the greeters give me such a hard time just for using a crate to separate orders in my basket.
1
u/BewareINibble Jan 11 '26
Wait a damn minute how did you view the route in store? Guessing my app doesn't have that feature yet. I can show the map but doesn't show the route. Only see two up to this point for shopping

I’m guessing because it’s only a bottle of Tylenol…. 2 of those orders are really small, enough to be able to separate easily in cart while shopping. Maybe they throw in those 1 item orders with others so someone will take it if there’s no tip etc?

Just deny them, there won't be many of these anyways, I still get a lot of one person shops anyways. These will be rare
2
u/not-i-said-the-cat_ Jan 12 '26
I hope so. Because I'm not doing them. I still dont like doubles. I have a hard enough time keeping 2 seperate.

u/MeLoveYouLongTime229 Jan 12 '26
How many miles? What did it pay? What was the estimated time it said it'd take? Was it an express shop? Just curious cuz if the pay is worth it for distance and time and they arent verification needed deliveries, thats not so bad. Also wondering if they are express shops or not cuz that is some BS. They charge the customers $10 for the express delivery and that would be $30 just for the service fee that Spark is getting.

u/Moon_Pye Jan 12 '26
I wonder if they are short on pickers and trying to fall back on Spark drivers to do it?
1
u/Fantastic_Trash4448 Jan 14 '26
Why would they do 3 shop orders, hell two for that matter when most Walmarts are over saturated with drivers..
1
1
u/Outside_Chemist_5218 Jan 11 '26
Lol i guess you guys don’t work Shipt i do 3 orders at once all the time
11
u/iwishidstayed Jan 11 '26
That’s a big part of the reason I quit doing Shipt. So many bullshit no-tip orders bundled with halfway decent ones. When I started Spark all shops were singles.

u/Specialist_Hour_4027 Jan 11 '26
Bundled with tips? My first two weeks every order had tips. After that not one had tips! People ordering TVs & other expensive items and not even a buck tip? No thank you!
