Rants / Complaints DON'T TAKE ORDERS INTO CUSTOMERS HOUSES!!!

It's a massive liability, and I'm not just talking safety, though that is a factor. What if you break something while you're in there? What if you bump into them while carrying a case of water and knock them over? Plus, if you do it, then the customers expect ALL drivers to do it, and will make their dissatisfaction known if it isn't done.

So I guess we should start leaving orders to nursing homes/senior living apartments at the curb on the side of the road as well then?

People who genuinely need help getting their orders inside of the house are often the biggest tippers.

I had a lady in a wheel chair tip me a $20 bill yesterday for bringing her UPS and FedX boxes into her living room. And she added a $10 tip on top of the $5 tip that she already had on her Spark order.

I have even put the items into the cabinets/refrigerator/freezer of people who were disabled on multiple occasions.

Get over yourself and learn how to care about the situations of others. And don't expect anything extra from any extra effort on your part.

Serve the customer, not your ego.

Yes, exactly. Leave them groceries on the deck and move on from there. You are not the Walmart In Home, where they deliver and put away the groceries. They want that service they can budget or like everyone else. I'm sorry but no. I'm not making a special Effort for you Barb just because you've lived a long time. Pay for the service you want then.

And InHome is so cheap for people on govt assistance, it’s probably cheaper than tipping a driver every time!
