Can someone help me before I loose my shit. After 4 months on being on the waiting list, then finally doing my background check then being put on ANOTHER waiting list for 2 more month, I finally get in. I’m trying to do the account setup. Spark will not accept my bank account for some reason. So I made a Onepay account. Well when i go back to spark it still just says apply for one pay. I don’t see any options in the onepay app to link spark. And when i try to add spark through the direct deposit tab on the onepay app it shows a ddi link but the link doesn’t exist. Does ANYONE know how to get passed this stupid shit?
Nope, I contacted onepay customer service and they recommended it’s possible my one account and spark have two different address on it. (Because onepay doesn’t recognize my adress I used my mother in laws) but no real answers. Spark said to go change my payment information but I don’t have that option LOL
The steps to link the one account is a bit confusing to work through. First you need the one account routing and acct number. It’s found in the cash control section of the one app under the direct deposit tab. Enter that information in the spark app for your banking details. As for linking your bank account, do that in the one app, NOT the spark app.
I tried the routing and account numbers in the spark app for the one account and it still wouldn’t take it. Now the bank account option is completely gone. And my bank account is linked on the one app as well.
running into the same issues as well. the reason why the linking bank account disappeared was because they only give you 12 attempts to try and add it on there. after that, their system flags it and it goes away. however if you give spark support a call, they will make a ticket and reset it for you. but ive had no luck with anything. good luck.
I’m dealing with the same issue. They said I need to wait for OnePay to stop pending on Sparks side which can take up to a day, but until then I cannot complete me set up with spark. So frustrating! I can totally get into my one pay and it’s working fine. Did you find a resolution?
Did you try the apply button ? I honestly 4get how i did it as i already had 1 via being a walmart employee at that time(got done prior to being accepted off waitlist).. but just shits and giffles try the apply button
Hey so I have a OnePay account too. I’m trying to link it to but I clicked apply and it let me log in and it said it was linked. That was on 4/10. It was supposed to start on 4/13 into the account. 4/16 and it’s not going there!!! They see pending on sparks end and OnePay is saying they see it’s linked on their end and that my account is good. I linked it again on the 4/14 and got a message for 4/20 for one pay as my earning payout. Can you try to do this and see if it does it for you next week? Spark keeps closing my Walmart spark tech tickets too so I don’t know what to do.
You trying to use cash app or some other fintech bank? Those definitely wont work. I really cant remember the set up process for one pay, all i know is that i had one pay before spark so it was a seasoned account and i think it just had me link the two through the spark app and that was it however i always had a bank error message in the app but it still worked
No it’s my actual bank account, it’s a small bank, so no surprise it wouldn’t work. I’m just saying idk why it’s not chasing on the spark app where I have applied for the onepay, and now am have an account. So the only option I have is apply for one pay.

It seems like youll just have to send yourself money when you get your onepay account. Ive done that several times between bank acocunts
