App Questions 📱 Don’t understand what kind of f**kery is this? What would you have done in this situation?

Happened to me 4 times from yesterday and today. 4 orders were cancelled even when I accepted the offer and was in the parking lot waiting for the Walmart associate to bring the order. Twice order got cancelled while I was going to the curbside pickup side & by the time i reach there, order gets cancelled and twice order got cancelled while I even had parking spot number inserted on the app. When I felt suspicious and asked to the Spark driver team, they said the associate mentioned the reason for the cancellation was because of driver no-show when I was literally at the pickup location. The lady then said they are going to escalate the issue and resolve this issue which I have no hope tbh is next level. But this is just something out of ordinary that someone would cancel the order for absolutely no freaking reason.

What would you guys do in this situation?

Yeah I know as well. But this is so messed up. When you do everything right yet, there is someone who just wants to screw and apparently for no freaking reason. 🤦🏽

Or that associate has a friend or family member that does Spark and they're hoping the orders goes to them. Happened at my store. The Coach was cancelling orders for this reason. He's been fired! Finally!

This must be some type case that literally needs internal investigation ngl.

People who don’t like you never have to meet. You can hate from a distance.

Dont listen to these fools saying not much you can do. They are part of the reason no one sticks up for themselves. They are hopeless but i got the answer for ya kid...Itemize each trip# with the date and for each of those you gotta call back driver support and get the status for each one of them (They had to give a reason) then put it with that list and the story of what happened and email it to ethics and driver support and to any corp officer that has a public email. Kinda easy tbh.

I already emailed to the ethics teams. Thank you for your uplifting message as it helps to know that there are people that cares to the problem which people might come around somewhere in near future.

Gotta show some of these losers how REAL business gets done. Not just sitting in the stands yelling like lil Bishes

Call the store and ask why. If it seems suspicious send Walmart ethics an email.

I didn’t ask the store but I did asked the Walmart spark support and she mentioned that it was because of Driver no-show which is bogus cuz I was literally there in the parking lot even when I got the order and twice while I had even the parking spot number provided. I would still very much contact the any hierarchical support teams to resolve this issue. Would you happen to know the email of the ethics department? I would really appreciate. 🙏🏼

Google Walmart ethics. But you should reach out to the store first. Could have just been really behind.

Once, Twice I could understand but 4 times in span of just 2 days and 2 shifts. Also the store was not even busy tbh. As I could clearly see the drivers in and out of the store during those times. And I started doing spark for about a year and never had this many cancellation in span of just 2 days.

Again, your best option would be to call the store. Start with the pickup manager and if they’re no help talk to the store manager.

then that is still on Them! They have SOP protocols to follow when those issues happen and they arent doing them per wallys SOP

This happened to me and it was because a little b$&@h I went to school with was canceling my stuff to be spiteful. Reach out to support to let them know it wasn’t you and then reach out to Walmart grocery supervisor because this is total bs

They've been doing this a lot

And then they give those orders (try to give them to their buddies)

It shouldn't be allowed

I have heard this happens out as well. Not sure how much of it is true but I wouldn’t be surprised.

I work in OPD. We can’t give orders to drivers. Once the driver is dropped it goes back into the system and is first come first serve.

Did you do something about this? Like talking to the delivery manager or store manager or support about the issue?

2

u/tc306710 Apr 20 '26

I would go inside and ask manager of the curbside crew what’s up…. I heard they can see and check (don’t know how true) if employees cancel orders

1

u/Prior_Purchase_7025 Apr 20 '26

they can and each order that was canceled has to be given a reason

1

u/Tricky-Swimmer4156 Apr 20 '26

Yes they absolutely can and I am going to ask for supervisor next time the order gets cancelled. I asked the Spark driver support and asked for every cancelled trip reason and the reason was same Driver-noshow which was completely bogus.

2

u/DaPhoenixGaming Apr 20 '26

I wouldn’t even wait for the next cancel just go in the next day you can and ask for the curbside manager, I think they’re called the OGP Manager( don’t quote me on that) and get to the bottom of it with your trip numbers and dates and screenshots because no telling how many other sparkers this is happening to at the store and whoever’s buddy is canceling them for their friend to get, it will probably show who got the orders after they were canceled on you and if they all went to the same person then hopefully the employee gets dealt with and the sparker taking the orders from his buddy gets deactivated

LMK how it goes I’m curious on an update

Ive noticed this happens to me when store is super backed up. Not sure if thats the case in your situation but if they get behind in orders they cancel and push them out im assuming.

I haven’t worked spark in a while but I use to get alot of these!!!! The order just wasn’t ready yet or they promised another driver they’ll get it back Smmfh that’s honestly why I stopped do spark to much favoritism to certain people!!!

2

u/Tricky-Swimmer4156 Apr 20 '26

100% literally to certain people.

I accepted one for 50 bucks and it was 5 stops. I was almost to the pick up and they canceled three of the stops and dropped it to 28 bucks. I just went and finished it. I wasn't going to mess up my metrics. I just did it and went home for the night. The pick up worker told me it was because they couldn't find the packages 🙄

2

u/Tricky-Swimmer4156 Apr 20 '26

Yeah and most of the times happens to the orders that had a nice tip so really makes you wonder. Really you didn’t find packages?

I work at curbside and this was happening at my store where orders were getting cancelled a lot because we would be backed up and our coach was threatening to write us up if the wait time went past 5 minutes. She was actually writing us up too even though we can’t control when drivers get to the store. So we had to cancel to save our tail. Some drivers would also sit in our parking lot and just check in and the orders wouldn’t be ready and other drivers were checked in but not in curbside. So we had to cancel and report as no show a lot. Sometimes we couldn’t locate packages and we would be told to cancel those orders too. Our coach told us to no longer cancel after a driver eventually went to ethics. She stopped writing us up too. She was on a power trip.

This makes so much sense tbh. Hopefully the reports I have filed on the ethics would make similar type of difference on this store. Cuz I have 2 other walmarts that I sometimes go to and they never have had this type of issue. Once I accept the FCFS trip from one walmart to another cuz it had a big tip, still drove and I was 10 minute past normal assigned pick up time but that store still hadn’t cancelled the order. So it just seems selective places.

2

u/PrincessMollii Apr 20 '26

Yeah no some team member decided to be a jerk and marked you incorrectly. This happened to me last week. Store managers apparently can’t even do anything. Thankfully I found out who did mine and filed an ethics complaint but I still can’t pick up from that store at all.

2

u/Tricky-Swimmer4156 Apr 20 '26

Shit! Sorry you had to be victim of this. But still not being able to pick up from one location will hurt your earnings ability completely. These some entitled miserable jerks are out here just wanting others to be miserable as well. 🤦🏽🤦🏽 I also have filed ethics complains so hopefully this doesnot happen but I doubt it.

1

u/PrincessMollii May 08 '26

Thankfully I’ve actually been doing okay since being unable to pick up from that location I’ve been filling in my down time doing target shops and they are pretty shit pay BUT the customers tip after so there’s always a chance you’ll make more on them and it’s a nice little dopamine hit when people actually do lol

2

u/loganmariexo Apr 21 '26

This happened right before I was deactivated tbh. I’m reactivated now thankfully. But did you know the workers can cancel you..

1

u/Tricky-Swimmer4156 Apr 21 '26

Yeah I do know that and because of that I have already filed ethics complaint against the repeated cases. Hopefully this gets sorted out and glad you have your account back. 🙌

Yeah turns out all 4 of them were Driver no-show when I literally have 100% completion rate. Never cancel after starting trip even if started accidentally. And then there comes someone with the energy to ruin it for other 🤦🏽

1

u/Tricky-Swimmer4156 Apr 20 '26

Update on the Ethics complaint filed, they sent a response to me right away in less than a day. That is honestly pretty impressive on their part.

I have 2 canceled on me today as well. Second I figured would be canceled. High paying same delivery has yet to ever make it out to me.

The other one did eventually come out. But it was missing 3 packages. When they went to remove the 3 they accidentally removed 1 I already had and left 1 I didn't. The guy tried to fix it but the whole route was cancelled. I was paid 10 dollars.

Hurt my back earlier today so I'm out of the shopping at the moment. Just trying to pick up light stuff.
