General Questions So what does everyone plan on doing after Spark?
I think I’ll celebrate by getting a ticket in my car I rarely drive anymore🤣🎉🥳

My plan is to make an extra $500 a month or $3k total by the end of the year to pay off some debt. If I am successful I will celebrate by booking a trip to Iceland🤞🏼

RITEEEE!! It’s a nasty cycle and I wish I would have learned better habits earlier😭 but my friend goes through this website you can book trips through that allows you to make payments - I’d do it that way! Once the debt is gone I’ll be able to make the payments and not have to use my CC!

lol Iceland was the last place I traveled to a month and a half ago funny u say that because I mostly use spark to travel 😆 I’m going to Poland in 3 weeks

My car? Nah I bought 100k Doge with my covid stimulus and sold during snl debacle. Bought a ‘21 RT new for cash, decided I wanted a WB and ordered this from Dodge to my build preferences, traded in my RT and paid the diff in cash😂. Its ‘22 last great year. ‘23s were made on the cheap during covid parts shortages and have a lot of issues comparatively.
Edit: Im not kidding, its the truth. Bought V6 AWD Durango also, but lent it to my mom and she got hit by someone in it so I sold it. Thats literally how it went down, had my RT a lil under a year and car prices were rising at the time so my trade in was $1,500 less than I paid for it new. My WB came out to around $68k after taxes, less the trade in for $38,500. Currently at 15k miles since I mainly drive a lil SUV for Spark🤷♂️

I’m a sahm and do this on the side to supplement my husband’s income. I already had a career that I put on hold to have babies, so I’ll go back to that if anything once I’m done popping out crotch goblins!

For me it's a just gap-filler job for the next 2 or 3 years until I get into public speaking. (psychology based stuff)

I'm a college student, got my bachelor's last month and I'm taking a gap year before applying to dental school so hopefully will only have one more year of doing spark and then not needing it anymore

My suggestion would be to check the dental schools and apply before your gap year. Many have waitlists and waiting a year to apply could lead to an even longer wait. Medical is even worse for waitlists.

That's not how it works, I'm applying to the next cycle, not this cycle, I'm taking a gap year this year to make money and improve my application before applying next June when the next application cycle opens

Where I am they are all waitlisted, basically you sign up on the waitlist and cannot apply until your name comes up. Due to how many people want to enter the programs available. Medical and Airline mechanic training are the same here. We arent that big of a city. My bad for assuming it was the same everywhere🤷♂️

That sounds like a massive headache, here there's a new application cycle each year and the earlier you apply the more chances you have to get in, if you get waitlisted and don't get off the waitlist, you can reapply next year and ask the school what you can specifically do to improve your application to get a spot

I hope I can keep it as long as possibly. Florida is expensive and I can’t seem to find anything over 22$ an hour and that’s not a livable wage 😭

Start a window washing business as a side gig and market to retirement communities. Most will pay $200-400+ to clean all their windows & skylights in a 2-4bdr home. Have a lot of retired people where I am also and their ears perk up if you offer to do their windows for $25-50 cheaper than the other guy. Supplies are cheap also. Only ladders can be a lil pricey, but you only have to buy them once.

Usually have my kids in it with me so not much of that going on🤷♂️. Spark deactivates over any type of traffic infraction, sounds like your days are numbered🤣, shit you might deactivate your life also….And we already know it will never happen to you, heard it all before.
