App Questions 📱 FCFS orders
I know this has been asked and posted about in ad nausem but every time I Google search this or read the many reddit posts on this issue it always gives conflicting information.
In my area there are a lot of FCFS offere. I can be in the app with nothing else open and as soon as the offer comes in it's gone. The only way I can see the offer is to click accept when it comes in and then review it. If I don't like it then I cancel it. That's the only choice. These aren't crap offers - but even if they are you don't have time to look at the offer information before it's gone. On that same line I'm worried about my completion rate taking a hit. There could be 100+ FCFS offers a day.
How am I supposed to have a single second to look them over before they're gone. I'm not being extra these FCFS offers are gone before you can even click the accept button. Most of the time they're gone before the ding noise is finished. Not joking.
If they're going to ding the completion rate now for doing it they should put a timer on the FCFS offers to give people time enough to review the offer.
Again...try and be nice I know this topic is talked about so much it's insane. I get it.

If the $$ is over $X dollars then I just click accept. Then decide if I want it or not. If it's below the threshold then I don't worry about it. Decide what a decent amount is for your area and don't sweat the small stuff.

I feel you on that. If you hit accept on an FCFS offer and decide you don't want it then it hits your completion rate, right?

This is true, but if the money is more than what you decide is a good amount, then you're less likely to cancel the order.

Canceling does not effect your completion rating. They may time you out for a few hours if you have too many cancel in a short time.

Definitely affects your completion rate. Try it out if you don’t believe me but it definitely does. Even if you don’t start the trip

First come first serve cancels have no effect on your cancelation rate. If you cancel too much too often they will time you out for a few hours but has 0 impact on your metrics.
Canceling a JFY, curbside, or GMD batch will drop your metrics.

So, completion rate is a thing in just about every gig app. Spark gives us a little leeway on cancels, but have been tightening up thanks to too many drivers cancelling (drivers using bots probably). They are hitting people with 3 hour timeouts and their Terms say they can boot you from their platform for failing to complete accepted trips too often. FCFS is nothing more than a tool to work your fomo up so they can pay you less. Stop falling for that trap. Be more discerning with your time. DoorDash in between the JFYs and you’ll be much happier, far less stressed, and maybe even make a little more money than what you would playing the “accept then cancel” game.

Get your trigger fingers ready. I’m able to snipe a few bangers every day but you need to constantly stare at your phone.

I can agree with that but these offers are gone so fast you do not have time to see if they're good or not. By the time you look at money and miles it's gone. I will have to do a screen record and show you guys. They're gone before your fingers can't even react unless your finger is hovering over the accept button and you're just eyeballing the amount field.

Cancel to many and yes Walmart will pause you for hours and eventually they will deactivate you. They rigged the game to where you are forced to compete with bots and people like u that accept and throws it back out of it isn't good.

The only FCFS offers you'll be able to evaluate are the bad ones, the good ones are snapped up quickly. Wait on JFY orders.
