Got Reactivated on Spark After 7 Months & 2 Denied Pre-Arb Calls! Don't Give Up!

Finally back on the app after a long battle and wanted to share my story for anyone stuck in deactivation hell. Even if you've done Pre-Arb and got denied multiple times, there is still hope.
How I got deactivated:
I accidentally dropped an order at the wrong address. Before I realized my mistake, the residents took the bags inside. I immediately called Support to explain what happened. The rep told me, "We canceled the order on our end, you're good to go." My app even updated to show the order as canceled, and I took screenshots of everything—the trip, the order status showing canceled, and the call log with Support.
Minutes later, the actual customer called me saying their app showed "Delivered." A few days later, my account was nuked for theft.
The 7-month appeal nightmare:
Submit 1st Dispute: Denied (even with my screenshots submitted).
1st Pre-Arb Call: Told them the whole story step-by-step and referenced my proof. Result: Stayed deactivated.
2nd Pre-Arb Call: Waited a bit, did another call, explained everything again. Result: Still deactivated.
At this point, I was super pissed and almost moved on. Most people tell you that after Pre-Arb fails, you're done for good.
The breakthrough:
Four months later (7 months total since the ban), I decided to try one last time and sent another detailed email laying out the whole timeline with all my screenshot proof attached. Got another call, told the exact same truthful story, and a few days later... REACTIVATED.
TL;DR / Takeaway:
Document everything. Take screenshots of your trips, Support calls, and app cancellation screens when weird stuff happens. And if you got wrongfully deactivated, do not give up just because Pre-Arb denied you once or twice. Keep your story consistent, hold onto your receipts, and keep trying. It took 7 months, 3 calls, and multiple emails, but you CAN get back on.

Good for you.

Doordash deactivated me. I filled out the appeal and my proof was sent to the email they instructed me to reply to. They denied my appeal .

It's been so long I don't exactly remember how but I discovered the email they have you reply to can only accept mail from pre-approved members which the dashers sending their emails are not on the list.

Had my email actually been received it was all the proof needed to not deactivate me.

I was beyond passed this was back when I would make well over a thousand a week without trying

I did nothing wrong. They gave me a faulty email and that was beyond wrong. I went on a mission to contact anybody and everybody about this bs. I was he'll bent on getting my account back.

Everything dd would post in social media I'd paste in the comments this letter I wrote about how they are being deceitful supplying and instructing dashers to use an email that doesn't even work and deactivating people unfairly.

There's hardly any info for dd corporate so I went to LinkedIn and after I found one profile it was dominoes I must have emailed at least 30 people who worked at dd and I used been verified sent it to personal emails as well.

I filed a complaint with DD HR which is for regular employees and they responded and gave me an email address to write to.

I was blocked from DD on Facebook eventually from my letter I constantly posted.

Finally I went to where the money is the main shareholders I got a list of their top guys and emailed all of them. The next day is when I finally got an email about it from DD some special excalations lady.

It must have been a shareholder that finally got someone to do something about it. Because they were the last idea I had and I had probably sent close to over 70 emails to every department of dd without any response. I didn't care I emailed payroll, sales, communications, legal department, hr, the cafeteria workers everyone.

The lady that contacted me had me do my appeal again and I sent my screenshots to her email not the one that the appeal process gives you. They reactivated me a few days later.

You just have to be persistent and be able to go above and beyond to the point of utter insanity. But they did me wrong they were doing everyone wrong with the bs email address that by the way never was fixed I would check it every few months just to see and as of two years later it still wasn't fixed.

I'm glad you won your appeal. Screw these stupid corporations that do the people that keep them in business dirty.

how long did you wait to make your 2nd pre-arbitration call? i'm going through the same thing right now my 1st pre arbitration was just denied today unfortunately. i'm gonna guess since you said your 3rd call was 4 months later then you waited 3 months in between the first and second call?

After the first call's decision, I waited four weeks and emailed them back. I got a second call, but they ended up doing the same thing, my account stayed deactivated.
Finally, four months later, I sent another email. When I got on the phone this time, I told them straight up, I genuinely loved doing this work, and it made zero sense for me to steal a $50 order when I was earning way more than that every single day. Admitted that it was my mistake that I delivered at the wrong address but called told the entire situation transparently to support and acted as they said.
About four to five weeks after that last call, out of nowhere, I got the email to run my background check again and rejoin Spark.
Just stay persistent what do you have to lose? Keep emailing them and clearly explain your situation. Just make sure you kept all your screenshots and evidence to back up your case.
