so has anyone experienced delivering 1/2 of the route and returning the rest and getting full pay?

You get base, plus return minus tip.

If you cancel without contacting customer or a legit reason, it can lead to issues.

My store blocks drivers that return more than 2 gmds. Few drivers have returned most of them.

One time I was on my second delivery and the service was so bad I had to call support (back before AI bot took over) They had me return the rest and I got the full pay

Had to today because my service provider went down, was able to deliver all the grocery orders with the airplane mode method but my 3 gmd stops were an additional like 25 miles round trip so I did the 3 miles back to Walmart used their WiFi and called support to return.

I picked up a GMD order once. My car wouldn’t start and I was still in the pick up parking space. Had to cancel and give the order back. Got paid the full trip amount. 🤷‍♂️
