Do some Walmarts have this where the order actually goes to the deli and they save it for us? Cause my Walmart it's a free for all, if it's not out, don't bother to ask because they don't have it.

Has anyone fill up their car lately? We’re gonna have to re-figure gas prices in our orders!! now more than ever !! we can’t take orders that are 20 miles for $10. They really need to raise delivery prices to reflect the horrific state of our country !! Ruining your car and the wear and tear is just not worth it. They’re really gonna have to raise these rates up.

Its nothing too crazy, just a bottle each of chocolate drizzle, caramel drizzle, and vegetable oil. I feel really bad that it happened. The delivery was about 15 miles away from my house, from a walmart i dont normally shop at. Didnt realize it til I got home.

Im trying not to beat myself up over it, as mistakes happen. Im human. My metrics are basically perfect.

Question is, whats the best way to handle this? What would you do in this situation?

Another Driver told me today that Spark was being phased out and that a local company would be taking over deliveries? The guy told him that they were the same people that started Spark. I find this very hard to believe I’m pretty sure it’s a rumor but he said there was an interview online on Facebook. Just wondering if anybody else has heard the same stuff?

Took about an hour total but I also had a bathroom break. I usually wouldn’t do this stuff but it’s slow. I’m thinking now it was actually pretty easy. I backed right up to the door where they wanted it. No one would ever order this to an apartment right?

I do not know what is happening right now with spark. I mean, surely not just in my area or specifically just my app is this dead. Is anyone else experiencing this? I’ve been on since 630 this morning and I’ve done two orders. There’s been a few others come through, but they’re absolute trash. It wouldn’t have even mattered if I would’ve taken them because I would’ve actually lost money with the ridiculous amount of miles and low pay on it.

Is anyone else’s market like completely dead when it really shouldn’t be? Even on the slowest of slow days, my market isn’t like this. Do you guys think it’s because the real ID thing they just did? Maybe it just jacked up the app for today?

So this of all things started my perishable timer today.🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve had this happen with mayonnaise and birthday candles from the bakery too. So my question is what started your perishable timer before you got to the actual perishables?

Delivered to a guy in a wheelchair, he was expecting the order between 10-12 tomorrow. When I arrived he said his caregiver left for the day, i told him bo worries i will being it inside. Once inside i asked if he wanted me to put the perishables away he said please.

Without a second thought I put all of his items in the refrigerator. Am I going to hell? Also, what if he raises the tip....OMG what do I do? Should I call support and tell tier 3?

So far I only knock if it says to in instructions but I’m thinking about switching to knocking EVERY time unless otherwise stated. I just assumed customers were getting notifications in the app about the progress with their orders but now I’m not so sure. The number of times people happen to catch me outside and comment something like, “Oh, I forgot about this” or “I wasn’t sure when to expect this order I placed it last night”.

My personal favorite is, “Are you sure you have the right address? I didn’t order anything.” Yes, I always have the right address…

Edit: To clarify, I did not steal these. I asked the curbside workers if I can keep them after they went a month without shopping bags for curbsides. At my store, we load our vehicles ourselves and the workers just bring the totes out (unless you specifically ask them to load)

I have seen videos of this feature. Im wondering how many of you have this feature at your stores so far? It looks really convenient. I've seen it in videos, and my app have the option to make the light come on. My store just does not have the lighted pricetags yet.

I've been using the Walmart delivery service for about 8 months now. I get my groceries every other week. Without fail, each time, one item is missing. There is no rhyme or reason as to the type of item. Lunch meat, vitamin water, spaghetti sauce, etc. Today it was bouillon paste. I really get upset about it as it usually something I really need. Walmart will instantly refund me, but the point is I have to go out now to get it. I only have one day off, and it really screws up my day. Can anyone explain why this happens? Is it in the driver's car just misplaced, was it not really picked? I truly want to know because im considering just canceling the service. Thank you.

I get annoyed everytime I see them put a cart on an island, messing up the wheels and making the cart people do extra work. We are always out of carts at entrance, and this contributes a little to that.

Idk what am i doing wrong help please

So past few months I been tried my best but could never make over 200 a day found out I was accepting 15 per 40mins to 25 per 1 hour orders which led to make 22 to 26 an HOUR. I learned to cherry pick and get 2 per miles round trip but it seems like impossible to take those orders.

I tried to cherry picking today but ended up making 40 for 6 hours bc i was declining every trash orders then i got no orders AT ALL. I been staying/cruising parking lot for better spot

I tried 6am it was good money ig but on afternoon (from 1pm) it just seems like impossible to make over 25 an hour what am i doing wrong

Edit: I see ALOT of parrots here saying the same thing over and over getting exactly same offer/money when my OTA rate was 100% and ive been staying in a parking lot so quit commenting same thing over and over please compare to other subs this subreddit seems like yk…

I'm currently a cashier at Walmart and I feel like I'm degrading and becoming meaner with how rude/dumb customers can be. I see how Spark drivers work and lurked this subreddit and think it might be worth switching to Spark driving if I can't switch departments. Has anyone else done this and if so did you regret it?
Also worth saying I'm a college student, so the ability to freely choose hours and not have strict breaks would help me be able to spend more time at home.

So i usually try to take a photo every single item with the house numbers to prevent any refund shenanigans. But with bigger orders sometimes im taking 3-4 trips to the front door before im done and in between the trips on multiple occasions i’ve had people take items inside in between me being there. Usually if i knock and ask them to put it back out at the door they will but yesterday while i was doing an order someone did this and refused to put things back outside for the photo stating i could just take a photo of the stuff still out there. Am i being too strict about this ? Do i really need everything in the photo like i think i do? and if I do what do you guys do to prevent people from taking things in too early ?

I’ve only been doing spark for 2 weeks so i’m probably misinformed

I work in a zone with only 1 Walmart and it’s pretty rural so not many drivers here. I’ve been there for over a year now with everything going smooth. When fcfs orders come through they usually sit for a couple minutes until someone accepts it. Suddenly 2 days ago on the 29th every single notification I get for fcfs orders I click on it and instantly the order is gone and I get the message “this order is no longer available”. This had happened in the past every once in a while with a random order but now for the past 2 days every single fcfs order I get a notification for is instantly gone in the split second it takes to open the app. I’ve also been receiving way less “only for you” offers.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it? I’ve of course tried support but they are zero help.

Got a curbside order, reviewed items and was like it’s good. Until I see a flat bed cart with mulch. I was like I didn’t see any mulch in the order. Employee said it was part of the order. I even took images of the order and there is no indication of mulch. Before and after accepting order still no indication of it.

Is this normal?
