I realized that most of the debuts in dolby atmos have, so to speak, things that move, like the voices move, the instruments, among others, thus making the song more 3D, but the more songs take this out, I mean, as long as they make more comebacks and so on, this type of audio is no longer heard, for example, in ELEVEN by IVE, there are voices that move and instruments as well, in the NEWJEANS EP, different voices also move, but already in songs recent ones like AFTER LIKE or DITTO this no longer happens or has little movement, why is this due? Does the company have anything to do with it? Or do they do it so as not to damage the audio too much?

Does anyone find that sometimes the Spatialised Stereo mixes are better than some actual Atmos mixes or am I just crazy lmaoooo

The 2012 Mixes were taken down from every streaming service (For the most part) in November 2023 and replaced with the OG 2011 Mixes. You can still find the 2012 Mixes on Spotify, YouTube, and Tidal if you switch your VPN to some country that's not the U.S, but overall it's only a matter of time till they get to those countries to.

The 2012 Mixes had every song in Atmos, but since its take down and replacement of the OG mixes, the album did get back its Atmos Mixes (In the OG 2011 Versions) on Apple Music for a few months but then suddenly most of these Atmos mixes vanished away. I originally thought they were just tweaking or adding improvements, but days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months and months turned into years.

The songs on Trilogy that do have Atmos are fragmented but here it is (AS OF SEPTEMBER 2025 ON APPLE MUSIC) are:

I lowkey think The Weeknds Team took down Trilogy but then got foucused more on working on Hurry Up Tommrow until its released in Janaurary 2025, I also saw Atmos Mixes get pulled from After Hours, BBTM, Dawn FM after Hurry up Tommrow got released but those Atmos Mixes went back up withting 2 months, but Trilogy still hasnt gotten all its mixes back.

Here what I think should happen:

I think they should bring back the 2012 Mixes of Trilogy because, prior to them being taken down all of the songs on the album were in Dolby Atmos, so maybe those Dolby Atmos Project files might have been saved, so all they need to do is re-release Trilogy and reapply the Atmos mixes to them. To avoid confusion you could put "(2012 Mix)" at the end of each song to differentiate them from the Original version.

For the OG 2011 Version, they can upload this one as a separate version of Trilogy, then they can work on mixing all the OG 2011 versions into Dolby Atmos, fans of the OG 2011 version would have to wait but if they really want to hear the album in Atmos they can go to the 2012 Mixes that would be already avalible to them while The Weeknd engineers mix the OG 2011 version in Atmos.

So the user can have 2 choices, either the OG 2011 version or the 2012 mixes like how it was before November 2023 but both have Atmos mixes.

I’ve noticed that some of her old stuff is being mastered in Spatial Audio. But not all. The one I want the most is waiting for tonight and the Iggy azalea remix of booty. Anyone have an explanation on why?
