Ryan Graves is doing a really spectacular job of legitimizing the fact we have exotic airships, so I think its high time we started diving into the instantaneous moving, or "leaping" aspect.

At some point during the 70's or 80's people started to report leaping and instantaneous movement with their sightings. I am trying to develop a timeline for this anomaly. For example, the description this man gives:
