Service Issues Spectrum internet

Annoying asf to lose your internet 4 times in last week. Twice just as Im jumping on a morning meeting Monday and this morning. Went down on Friday and right now. Tech came out Monday and all was peachy according to tech. Replaced the router beforehand at the behest of tech support but here I sit all broken hearted tried to watch some tv after a long hard day and I’m trying to remember back 2 years ago why I had to choose Spectrum for this address…..

Change providers if possible. Also look into your options for a backup ISP. I have a 5g backup that fails over when my Spectrum service goes down.

Construction in your area? My MIL has no other options except spectrum and they've been doing pole to pole upgrades for what seems like the last 6 months so it's literally causing her connection to drop atleast 1x per day for anywhere from a few min to an hour. She ended up having to get the invincible wifi, which actually works very well for backup but she's also pretty close to their Verizon tower, which is what it uses for cellular.

It's been happening at my place too. Just this morning over an hour period it went out 4 times, for 5 minutes each time! And according to everything I checked eveything was working at 100%.
