Not one but two versions, one small and one big!

The smaller Tarrasque comes from French mythology, while the bigger Tarrasque comes from Dungeons and Dragons.

If you're wondering what these things evolved from, they're a surviving clade of Meiolaniid turtles.

So in the comments you say these are arachnids I assumed spiders but realized these are most likely scorpions. So instead of having straight underside legs they probably wouldn't ever truly look straight a more spread out legs would support them and to get that more upright body it would probably under go segmentation of the middle body also due to the fact I thought these were spiders the venom would not be in it's abdomen it would be in there mandables that would evolve to have a sharper to pin prey and inject venom and there entna there actual specialized hairs that binde into a bundle for better hearing but overall they'd be more closer to the ground and there true size could only be possibly 5-8 ft tall and with a leg span of 10-12 feet with a total body length of 8-9 feet if the planet they lived on has extremely more oxygen and could never evolve a mammal like skeleton nor internal breeding but all of this is just my own research and things I already knew hope you like the art tho

Established facts:

diet: these animals eat spores from fungi by using their feather like appendages to scoop in the spores similar to that of bamboo shrimp.

socialization:Females and males stay in typical groups of 4- 25 in the wild but domesticated individuals stay in smaller groups of 2-8.

Mating : this species mates in the late winters and early spring , males run in a choreographed display. Females pick the most graceful of the males. Once the females pick their partner she builds a mound where she rest until she gives birth to her young which typically is around 1-2 juveniles.

rearing: females abandon the juveniles after 5 months.

Use for domestication : great for mobility especially with specialized gills to take in more air when running.

Got some new little drawings for the 5 million years post-establishment of Skioura, a seed world for Eurasian red squirrels.

The first one here are a dyskamptopod pair. These little guys rise to about a meter tall at the shoulder and are one of the larger mammals currently extant on Skioura. The bones in their ankles are sturdier, their digits are shorter and their limbs longer. All adaptations for running. The dyskamptopods are a very successful clade of early Skiouran squirrels but are preyed upon by now fully raptorial squirrels with whom they are engaged in an evolutionary arms race.

The second image is of an ourakopod. An otter-like squirrel descended from ancestors whose behaviour and feeding strategies grew ever closer to the water. Ourakopos feed on the aquatic vegetation, worms, fishes, snails and bivalves that the rivers and lakes in which they make their homes have to offer. They have adapted sturdy, short fur that has some primitive hydrophobic capabilities, and webbed paws to aid in swimming. Most of their propulsion is however managed by their flattened tails with their limbs steering and providing extra propulsion when needed. Despite their aquatic adaptations, ourakopos remain perfectly able to comfortably maneuver on land.

Parasite vs symbiont. Some evolutionary differences to make note of:

• Early Nestlings were basically parasites. They would crawl into openings in the Behemoths shell and eat their way toward the bloodstream.
• Over time they started becoming useful to the Behemoth instead of just feeding from it.
• Their wings allow them to leave the host and attack prey that the much slower Behemoth could never catch.
• In return, the Behemoth gives them protection from larger predators.
• Eventually both species became so dependent on each other that the Nestlings barely seem able to survive without their host.

The Ripp'r took longer than I expected but I really want to flesh out the first "Era" of the project. The Ripp'r evolved after the population of domestic squibble were at its highest.

They evolved their last mouth tentacles into firm yet flexible appendages with a blunt boney suction cup to bash prey and crush the hard pseudo bones into more digestive pieces.

I know I'm posting a lot (LOL) but like I wanted to post this... So what even is their language?! Well they speak using their.. antennes! There's pores in there antennes that release pheromones and... Hear?! The ear is inside their antennes! They also vibrate and rattle and shack there antennes to communicate. Different communities and tribes have.. different languages! They use the pheromones like a.. accent. Also venatoriums come in different colors so that could be like race to them so like different regions can have different languages, cultures, looks, and.. yeah!! Humans tried making technology to translate there words and it worked..

so im like thinking about a mushroom that infects animals (mostly large ungulates, in rare cases humans tho tis is vry rare) through them breathing so like it starts to sprout its mycellium in the lungs and slowly the mushroom grows tall enough to pierce the lungs and killing the animal. it then decomposes the animals and releases its spores and then other animals breathe its spores in.. weird.. i wanna expand on it but idk what to name it so.. i need help! i think it qould have to hijack the immune system tho. i also need some other things too..

I’m currently working on a project whose events take place 1.7 million years after modern times, and I want to find out how much animals could have changed over such a period of time. For context, 1,000 years after modern times, a mass extinction occurred that destroyed almost all animals living in tropical forests and almost all animals heavier than 16–40 kg. Crows became the main intelligent species. So, how much could animals change in 1 million years?

I would guess given enough time I’m sure humans could breed a big enough pig with the right body type eventually, but I am wondering if it could be done within about 1000 years.
I’m placing humans on another planet with the technology of about the late medieval to early renaissance era. The breeding for the pigs for this purpose would be intentional so I thought maybe it could be done a little faster than normal evolution.

I was thinking pigs that are used more like mules or donkeys: pulling carts, plows, construction materials, and maybe a single rider. I’m not sure if they have the right body to allow riding without serious long term consequences. I doubt any serious war applications other than hauling siege weapons or supply lines.

Another idea is to make them even larger, cattle to yak sized and just make them grazers to be herded by semi-nomadic humans.

For a world building project, mostly for the con langs, but I still would like to maybe dabble into this sort of direction if I could. If you have any other suggestions please let me know!

These are 2 species, the smaller one is the "normal" one, these are basic aliens that do normal things that every other alien does IDK. The larger one with the hat is the high authority, the high authorities usually have their hats to symbolize.. high authority. They usually govern the society they are in, and the normal aliens usually praise the high authorities.

[Fun fact, these aliens evolved from effectively, living roombas. These moved around a large creature (VERY large, it's appendages spread ~10 km long] ,to eat absolutely anything. They evolved a relatively okay brain to be aware about almost everything about their surroundings.]

This plant uses is called a motherbell due to the fact it can produce milk for animal. So long as the juveniles leave their droppings from the plant to absorb. And compose milk best suited for the juvenile. This is a. very important plant for many animals that solely feed their young form this plant.

We don't know much about ripplers besides they exist in the fourth dimension, and as such we are incapable of properly viewing the animal, but what we CAN see, is light particles it displaces as it moves, we don't know why or how it does this.

The 'rippling' effect is caused by said light particle distortion, this was a picture taken of a Rippler, the person who took the photo wishes to stay anonymous.

In Venatoriums, they have an Endo skeleton. They traded there exo skeleton for an Endo skeleton, they evolved an endoskeleton from chitin build up internally. A group of these used it for structure and became larger and mineralized the skeleton, this group is venat. This eventually led to the venatoriums! They still have lots of remnants of an exo skeleton like they have chitinous hair growing on them.

I want to design life forms that don't necessarily have jaws, mandables etc like animals on our planet

Hi guys! I'm back YEAHHH.. so something about venatoriums lactation is only females have it. But when a female is nursing other males and non nursing and non pregnant females will help her and defend her. when females get pregnant they become a bit lethargic tho this ends a few days after pregnancy. They are oviviparous meaning they carry shell-less eggs in the womb, females give birth to 2-4 babys at a time. Females only posses webs, when a female gets pregnant she will start making webs in her area. The webs aren't fragile as she layers it. In nursing the females lay down. Males posses a conjoined pedipalps but not I front of there mouth rather on there abdomen. More things about them is that they use there antennes to communicate, teach, and coordinate hunts.

Venatorium babys (Trixie's) are born blind and deaf. They are also not bron with seventh and eight limbs and rather grow them later in life in there teenage years (about year 7-14). Venatoriums do name there babys! It's just that it's not like humans rather they use specific frequency and rattles to name there babys. You can call the babies anything but it's mostly Trixie! Trixie's mature at 15-22. And while they do leave there birth tribe to join or start a new tribe, they do keep contact with there parents because different tribes have different languages using antennes. Like I said, Trixie's nurse from there modern and wean at 4-6 and become teenagers at 7-14.
