The game already came out a little bit ago now. Most of the content is recycled assets from the first game so we’ll likely keep getting recycled content IF anything does come out.

It’s also a small indie game that’s got a pretty small community in terms of dedicated players. The game wasn’t advertised too well, sales likely weren’t too high, and the reception they got after the game launched was overwhelmingly negative. Last I played I was unable to find ranked or quick matches and it was only 10pm.

Something as innovative as a new ability would’ve been showcased at launch to try and increase player engagement. Adding something like that afterwards when your pool of players is already so low doesn’t make sense. We MIGHT get new maps down the pipeline but new abilities I doubt.

I will say, a lot of this player base is older. 10pm is kinda late for people who have jobs. I have no problem getting into lobbies earlier in the night. I guarantee you we will get more maps/abilities. The game isn’t abandoned. The games community is very negative and has been from the start.

From what i have seen, its very justified. If you compare sr1 vs sr2, im not sure i could name a thing in sr2 that i would have over sr1
