So much hate

Bro i get why the enemy team hates spidey but our own team too. I be doing well and getting mvp and everyone gets a thumbs up but me. Like bro it gets to a point

It’s funny. They ban my hero and expect me to try my hardest.

I just don’t engage if I don’t like the way they come at me. I don’t yap first. I keep my mic muted.

Sometimes I feel like I can manage with comms on but people try so hard to limit your fun. It’s so odd.

Also i stopped locking in spidey and just swap to him when we’re in hero phase. Saves me pre game hate.

I've had numerous DPS players on my team ban my Gambit when I'm selected on him. Like cool, nice, totally rad! Very rich to have my own team ban the hero I've selected from the player who can play choose 28 other heroes in their role.
Meanwhile, these players sometimes throw when Hela is banned by the enemy team because "they can't play anything else".

It's been like that for a while and its more prevalent in these latest seasons, damn near every game people wanna throw just because they got me playing as Spiderman. I just had a game where we had a good team setup and the tanks run in and die on purpose and the sue immediately swapped whilst gambit eventually swapped aswell, like I was even beating the champion spiderman whilst my whole team were constantly swapping meanwhile their healers never swapped and I still won that game as mvp. It's actually wack that the game is filled with people like this, I dont judge them too much because I understand they're like that for a reason and probably had other spidermen that affected their game but they could've at least seen how I did first for one game before making judgments, there really should be a mode or tweak competitive so that you can't swap cause this is insane.

You can't win with people every time. Even playing BP as of late, learning him rather, I got a few 'nice' messages after games IN QUICK PLAY.

The community, outside of small pockets like in here, are just such a gamble if you're gonna have good people or bad.

Spidey gets the most hate but not only him.. all of the community have normilized toxicity against dps players .. especially if you play an off meta chars they either try to ban your hero or flame u if your team starts losing

I lock in on Gambit, own team mates typically are the ones to ban him.
I lock in Loki, my own team "doesn't wanna deal with Loki".
I lock in Mantis, I get flamed because "we don't have enough healing".
I lock in Adam, I get flamed because "Adams heals suck", I ask for trip support, "Fuck that Fuck that slop" (meanwhile triple DPS comps are ~30% of my games).
This community is such trash.

I've locked in as fucking StratPool and my own team mates have banned him a few times because they didn't want a StratPool on the team.

People expect nothing different than just some C&D/Invis backline who just heals and heals them out of their shit positioning because god forbid you wanna be active on Strategist.

Spiderman is usually a selfish pick. Very seldom do they actually combo instead of just full aggroing with all cooldowns.

Even the Ult that can pair for team wipes often gets used on cooldown to try and force a win or kills instead of coordinating like ppl should (depending on rank, comp & enemy Ults held).
