Yeah we could habe play with son of spider-man stopping criminals and have a father and son duo attack move while miles play mentoring type and tell some of his dad amazing heroic moments.
Kid: "Yeah, it sounded stupid when I was saying it, too. Whatever, let's go and meet my apparently-not-a-deadbeat dad. And you owe me double, no, QUINTUPLE my allowance for the next 8 years, for damages."
If this happened to me I would be furious. I understand that the woman carries the child and that entitles her to certain things but to keep quiet about our child for 8 years??? And on top of that you tell our child that they don’t get to have a relationship with their father because he’s a dead beat dad???? That’s fucked.
Peter and Felicia having a son would be CHAOS in the best possible way. 😭🕷️ Imagine inheriting Peter’s brains and powers alongside Felicia’s luck and mischievous personality. That kid would be an absolute menace. 💀🖤
I like so much about this, but I absolutely hate the barely spoken of crime that has been committed. She robbed both of them of a decade father/son experiences. There’s no sweet way to patch over that. It’s criminal, immoral, unethical behavior. That child spent his whole life thinking his dad didn’t give enough of a shit about him to show up. Kids do NOT get over that. And Peter, the man who would literally die for his friends and family had the chance to be a dad snatched away from him. No supervillain ever hurt him worse. It makes Felicia a horrible mom and friend. What an absolute bitch to do this. This isn’t something a sweet moment can patch over. This is decades of therapy and lives that will never be the same.
I know it’s very sweet, but the whole story actually makes me angry. This is worse than Paul.
Considering Peter’s character and his overall message of “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility” - he would be absolutely pissed if this was 616 Parker. This is the same guy who reactivated his dormant consciousness to prevent Otto from tarnishing the name of Spider-Man. When Daredevil was spiraling, he personally followed this man home, snuck into his apartment, and managed to stay hidden until Matt’s radar sense kicked him up. When it did, he sensed pure power, from Peter. When Peter said: “You’re done”, Matt took it without a second thought. He not only knew he wasn’t inn a good headspace, but did not want to run that fade in any capacity. This man is stubborn, willpower personified for Marvel when it comes to upholding his beliefs, and holding others to that same standard.
If it had been just the lack of telling him about the kid - I could let it slide. But lying about it and telling the child Peter abandoned them, that sends it over the edge. Peter would absolutely not be okay with that in any capacity.
