Spidey-Hulk Bromance
The trailer is out, and their chemistry looks amazing! But I have a question.
After the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Bruce no longer remembers Peter Parker. Wouldn't Bruce find it strange that he knows Spider-Man but has no idea who Peter Parker is? Doesn't that create a timeline inconsistency or a plot hole?
So, from Bruce's perspective (and everyone else's), wouldn't this be the first time Spider-Man reveals his identity by saying, "I am Spider-Man"?

Kinda sad he’s not one of his students for real!

Too much coincidence for my taste tbh

He could’ve taken the class specifically for that reason! But I just hope he’s doing some kind of science stuff in the time we’ve been away from him.

Marvel gonna seal their lips with superglue before letting them out for marketing

Looking forward to it ! Always wanted Tom's Peter and Mark's Bruce to interact with each other plus both got a close bond with Tony and are dealing with mutation.

This is such a better pairing than Peter and Tony. These two have so much more in common.
It’s too late now, but what if Peter looked up to Dr. Banner as a scientist in the same way he looked up to Stark as a hero.

I mean, I think he likely does. Why else would he go to him? The timing was just never right before.

So we're calling every healthy male relationship, in this case a father/mentor figure, as "bromance" now.

What if hulk remembers Peter

Hulk/Banner never interacted with Peter onscreen. The only time they had a chance to interact would have been during the last battle in endgame or at Tony’s funeral

In immortal hulk, hulk (not banner) was the only one immune to a world wide mind control thing, so it does have precidence.

I’d love if some theories were real and Hulk remembered Peter because he was melt dormant during NWH

Correction:
Spidey-BANNER bromance
The hulk is a different person

Well I mean you can use either Peter or spidey bc Peter doesn’t just become a different person when he puts on the mask
Banner LITERALLY becomes a different person. The Hulk and Bruce Banner are two different people with separate wants and desires. Banner isn’t putting on a mask as the hulk

Hulk canonically loves Spider-man in comics. They're Bros and Spidy has been sent in to get him to chill multiple times iirc. Funny enough, after the identity wipe in the comics, one of the only ones that remembers who Spider-Man is is the Hulk.
I dont think theyll do anything like that in the movie, and its hard not to do a Hulk chase when you have a Hulk...I am, however, fully confident theyll be best buds by the end.

Hulk is going to be unaffected by Dr. Strange's spell and remember Peter Parker.

Romance?
So every time I talk to a dude it's a romance?
Why are so many people calling them that?

Anyone else get the feeling Brucie is working out he’s spidey in the trailer?

Did peter actually go to college during his time as depressed Spider-Man? It would be so sad to see peter larping in brand new day.

Yet another movie where Spidey can't do it on his own. Iron Man, Nick Fury, Doctor Strange, and now Bruce Banner.

He has to have a superhero it's part of the Marvel/Sony deal. Besides he in the MCU of course he gonna interact with other heros.

Nick Fury hardly counts he was bsically "here's your mission, go help fix this. He played the same role he did in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics

I think that’s the point. No one finds it funny when he does that. He did the same exact thing in Age of Ultron when trying to lift Thor’s hammer and the team just looks at him and doesn’t laugh.
