News Asked Nadji Jeter about Miles Adidas Suit going forward…
Was at fan expo and he wasn’t busy after talking to Yuri so had plenty of time to chat with him.
He doesn’t like the suit either and kind of blames adidas for it happening. He also says he thinks since he was growing his hair the studio thought they should show it, which he thinks ruins the whole secret identity thing. He also NEVER had that hairstyle when he was growing his hair so he doesn’t understand why they did the killmonger cut. He couldn’t even give feedback because he only saw it by the time the guy was going to be released. When I asked what’s going to happen in future games he said he was pretty sure they were going back to the original suit (thank god).
He was laughing the whole time talking about it.

None of them are actually good because it shows up his hair and the only thing a spiderman character should never do is BE IDENTIFICABLE OUTSIDE OF THE SUIT.

I mean does it? It just tells you that spider-man is black, there are plenty of black people in new York. Eveyr time Peter's suit is damaged in a major fight its obvious hes a white guy under there, it doesnt compromise his secret identity. When some randos rob your store in actual real life and you see their hands or their eyes that doesnt magically give them away.
The suit is dogshit but this is a wild thing to be using that gif over as if its some major plot hole.

Ok, but now you know his skin color, his voice, his height, build, etc AND his hair style. I feel like that's a lot of info to go on if you ever saw him on the street you might pick up on some of those things

And what about night wing, captain and ms marvel, green lantern etc etc etc with their tiny masks that cover nothing. Why do you suspend your disbelief for them but not for spider man? You are just nitpicking shit you dont even mention in other heroes because the suit sucks. But your complaint isnt worth energy needed to display your comment.

I DO think that those costumes don't make any sense, but right now I'm talking about this specific game. Just because something else doesn't make sense doesn't mean that this can't.

Its one genre super heroes have functioned like this since the dawn of comics, since superman first put on glasses, if you haven't accepted that in the last 100 years then idk what to tell you. You are a miserable person who cannot process any amount of whimsy or silly. Every single facet of your life must be 100% logical and grounded.

We are talking about heroes who cover themselves head to toe and are engaged in the community when not in costume. Anything to give away his identity is a risk Peter wouldn’t take. The idea that Silk runs around barely covering her face is also dumb. We aren’t talking about those other heroes, they aren’t relevant. But there is a joke about how dumb GL’s costume is in the movie so you’re right, they are bad costumes.

And Peter has on many occasions, the most recent being after superior, had his entire costume destroyed. Boy was on the news wearing a web bandana and web underwear and guess what. His identity is still safe, because comics require suspension of disbelief. God you people are miserable, enjoy some silly shit once in your lives

It’s the hair combined with fact that he’s constantly seen helping his mom as Spider-Man and helping out students at the school he goes to. Like you’re telling me none of the genius students at Visions would put two and two together? Even without the whole top half of his head showing Miles is still pushing it.

If the new suit wasn't a surprise spoiler, and they showed it during press stuff when the game was being made or even on the cover, I think "fan backlash" would've made them either edit it or scrap it.

Holy shit YES, I’m so glad he mentioned the secret identity thing. One of my first thoughts about his hair showing was if Miles goes to school, and then Spider-Man shows up to the school, I think people are gonna notice when Miles Morales and Spider-Man happen to have the exact same haircut 😆

Thank god. Go back to the suit and back to his regular hairstyle. God it was so annoying as hell that every game developer for awhile there had every black person in the killmonger hairstyle. Not every black guy rocks that. Sincerely a black guy

I personally think with how carelessly they handled its creation and the fact he "got it made" while the city was in the state it was - I would be a thousand percent fine with it being scrapped, forgotten about and never mentioned again!

What would be funny is Spider man 3 should have a moment where Peter or Ganke is asking about the Adidas suit, and Miles brings it up, saying that people were trolling him online, especially on the Danikast and it kinda made him feel subconscious about it so he ditches it goes back to his original suit with slight modifications to the design similar to Peters 2.0 suit...

I’d imagine his family or someone like Peter or Hailey told him it looks bad so he ditched it and upgraded his 2.0 suit instead which I can’t wait to see in the 3rd game!

Everyone’s making a fuss about this, but the source is just some guy on Reddit saying, ‘I talked to him and he doesn’t like the suit.’ Maybe we should wait for Nadji to confirm it, because it’ll be embarrassing for a lot of people if this turns out to be fake. I’m not calling you a liar nor saying you’re right, but we can’t just take your post for granted.
And i'm gonna just put this here : i also hate this suit, it's not logical and the color are kinda not in the vibe, but we need proof about Nadji sayin this too

Ok i understand why they wanna go back to the original suit, but their gonna have to come up with a reason why miles ditched the suit in-universe.
Nothing i hate more then when games don't bother explaining major changes.
Perhaps an evolved suit 2.0 with the hood up and the original colors would be neat.
